8th week- Flushing tonight.

Hello hello
Today is the 56th day exactly and these pics were taking yesterday. Colas are getting more dense each day and alot of the Hairs are now amber and wilting..... Trichs are turning to mostly cloudy so the time is near. I am flushing 1/2 gallon per plant ( 2 gal pots ) with clearex by Biotanicare since I used their other products to grow.
I think i am right on par for chop in week then dry and cure for months...

well some of it anyway.. :joint:

Waiting 2 full days inbetween flushings and am noticing a nice difference ..... I did lots of reading and finally thought a nice flush solution was the best way to go.
I also used MOAB ....

4 diff strains make chop a tad more diff espec, since I dont know what the F*&^ I am doing.... A top n POP woulda been nice .. but again Dont know crapola... there is always next time. Also I might change up my nute's to something more... lets say synthetic... :peace:

Awesome looking, I have a little more than a week left on my first grow and your pics got me excited . I hope my girls turn out half as pretty as yours.

of coarse we cant see up close but in my opinion those plants are still going. A close up shot would show the maturing you speak of. From the pic I see bright white hairs and about 3 weeks left to go.

Yes this is true no good close ups I will take some better close up ones. Also keep in mind one of the pics was from day 43 i think... not 56.. IF that was the pic you might have seen... I like to put new pics and 1 old one for comparison.

Thanks , Frosty for sure huh. Been a long process but am glad that I did it hte right way , slow and steady wins sticky icky.

How did your grow end up ?
Who much did you yield ? I am hoping to get 1/2P ish

Haven't harvested yet, she's not ready. Trichs are still too clear so I'm going to give her another week. But I may, just may, get two Os off this one plant.

I hear ya on the long process and it's almost a shame to chop them down after we spend so much time watching them grow and caring for them. ohh well. I guess we still enjoy them by smoking them. :joint:

I am really hoping that by giving each plant strain its due cure time I will be able to actually taste each strain and not have them taste either all alike or like soil. lol.

2 OZ one plant- Gorgeous . Was looking at your posts and them are looking nice

Ohh yeah.. Each strain does have it's own smell and taste so the cure time and process is worth the effort.

Nothing wrong with taking some of your harvest and smoking it now or over the next few months. But the rest, if you can hold back for 5-6 months, while she cures is just the best. Save it for yourself or share it with friends for bragging rights

For sure !!! Smoke mostly the crap from the bottom and side branches but YES SIR... SAving the top dense fat crystal laced nugs in mason jars for as long as I can hold out. 2-4 months I was figuring ... but the longer the better..... I wonder how long the top shelf herb at the chronic stores here in LALA is cured before its sold...

yeah.. I've been "grazing" :rolleyes:

from little popcorn buds deep inside the plant, young looking and pistols still white but still frosty and packs a good stone. :eyesmoke:

You're lucky to live in a place where it's legal to sell for "special purposes"

. I imagine due to competition they do some quality control by curing. But I doubt they have the same patience as you'll have. They gotta make $$$

Don't flush, you just stress the plants without any other benefits.

Well now, that is an interesting read....

Unfortunately, several metabolic processes are unable to take place anymore since other elements needed are no longer available (the immobile ones). This includes processes where nitrogen and phosphorus, which have likely the most impact on taste, are involved.

I run coco.
I use to flush until I had some issues and had to cut a few days earlier than expected. The plants got no flush what so ever and were some of the best I had ever grown taste and smell wise.

I started doing a little research and found out I was wrong, big time.

I just use regular pH water for about the last week, week and a half before harvest. Pictures look great good job. I've been debating for two would days whether my AK-47 is ready to harvest yet so hopefully I'll have some pictures to show y'all pretty soon too. Nice grow.

Those buds could bulk up a bit more . My plants look like yours when I have 4 weeks to go .
You have mostly white hairs on your girl . None of the hairs have turned red and started to recede.
I make my comment on my experience ....... not what I have read .
A little patience will pay off big time.
