its not the strain, its the way they are grown. i know strain makes a difference but light deprivation is the cause of those tiny buds. look how skinny the stems are and how lanky they plants are. no offense, just observation:bigjoint:

I am using a 430 watt bulb on a 400watt balast, the guy at the shop told me it was ok , what do u guys think? btw its a buld that does growing and flowring

man im useing 42 watt cfls and my plants are on week 5. my buds are 5 times the size of yours. you need to call whoever sold you that light and tell the to eat shit.

Not true, I know several people who have bought from cannabisseeds.com and all there plants look like this, notthing but popcorn size nugs..... Search for your self. Also, I did not say the straim, I wanted to know he got them from.... Also, a 400 watt hps will not give you shitty results like this...:wall:

Is the bulb a agrosun, because this is the only 430 watt bulb that will run off a 400 watt ballst. Hortilux sells a 430, but made only for 430 watt ballasts...

thats what i was trying to say earlier. my 400hps is in my room and its brighter than hell and thats a non enclosed space for the light and its way brighter than that closet. that closet should be wayyyyy brighter than that with a 400

You could try using some unsulphered molasses along with your bloom nutes every other watering, it truly helps fatten buds up at least 10% to 20% but as others have said you need a stronger light

Looks to me as if there is alot of nitrogen (steam is long skinny or inter-node length)
and NOT ENOUGH phos and pottasium ...not saying deficency but plants require alot to fill out and reach max yield... During flower MJ`s: Nitrogen and phosphorus uptake increase up to 250%, and potassium requirements increase 400%.
The uptake of calcium and magnesium increases 150%.
It will only show deficency as you go below min requirment to live (not grow)



AND IT COULD JUST GENE`S....... LOL & more light the better.....but you got her that far and big (though stretched) so I dont see why you dont have bigger buds ? except the above !

If you continually turn you light on and off this is known as a HOT start. very bad for the bulb and ballasts. Though probably not the reason for your dismay. You could use a multi meter to test to see whats actually being put out. You could always just buy a bulb from home depot for $25. I now use a 600 electronic ballast. When i ran 2 400 watters i used regular GE bulbs from home depot for years. changed them out every year.
Also you could purchase a light meter to see what the light is put out for lumes.

you sure you got no light leek? them buds look like they are around 2 weeks old 3 max. what you growing in soil hydro? if the temps are cold day/nite that can also delay flowering, also to much N will slow it down, but yet again if its sativa they can take 12+ weeks to finish and the light should be 10h light 14h dark to help it speed up the finishing time.
