Need to know what the correct time to thin and lollipop. Some say wait until week 3 of flower after the stretch and others say only before flower.. Thoughts?
Whenever you feel like it.
I generally don't do much trimming until the 12/12 flip.
Removing the dense "underbrush" is a good practice; less larf, better air circulation, and lower humidity.

I wait until.just shy of 3 weeks after flip. I like to think the plant can use stored nitrogen in those leaves. That very well might not be the case though. Just something I've done the last few years.
If it's really humid , I'll shed some leaves before the the 3 weeks to open up the plants and get some airflow.

Edit
I've also heard that it may help keep the stretch down( waiting until 3 weeks) which I need.

I actually struggle to get my humidity over 55. Normally runs from 40-50 rh

Man, my last grow over the Summer was looking grim. I have a small grow space and the humidity in my cabinet was always in the 60's going as high as 74-75% Rh the whole grow. I was forced to prune all of flowering.
