8 Plants, 600w HPS/MH good enough?

I want to buy a already assembled hydroponics unit. It is a 8 plant system. I plant on having 1 system vegging, and 1 flowering.

Would 600W be enough to cover 8 plants?

Definatly would be. Im doing 10 plants with 1000w and its pretty much overkill still. Check out my journal to see how they doing so far.
