8 Plant 1000 Watt Grow Pics Included

I have 8 plants...5 Barneys critical kush, & 3 Dinafem OG Kush currently 15 days into flower. All plants are topped. I have them in sunshine mix #4 feeding them GH Flora Series in a 4x4 Grow Tent under a 1000W HPS. I vegged for 35 Days days under CFL's. Temperature 77 Degrees with 1000w Hps



Can I get a ESTIMATE or GUESS on what you think i might yield???

If everything goes well, no problems, shock, herms, bug problems, heat issues, bulb blows, ballast fuck ups, etc etc... Half pound + , I always have issues, so i end up with less than half pound. I had bug problems, herms, heat stress, blah blah blah, normally end up with between 1/4 and 1/2 lb.If you go by the watt vs gram you should get 1000 grams, or 500 (1 / 1, or 1 / 0.5 theory, either of those over a pound or over two pounds) Hopefully you have a flawless run with gangster pounds. Good luck!

What wattage HPS do you usually use when you get a half a pound ???

Have yet to get 8 full oz, I had 6 point something last time, I mean i typically end up somewhere between 4-8oz's... 1k watt hps. But I'm still a new grower Only have about 18 months total mary jane op experience, with fuck ups since day one lol. Slowly adding more equipment with each step. Only have about 3 or 4 ish HID grows, which since the start of that, combating heat, poorly designed grow space, hot climate, hermies, trying to insulate gaps that were leaking A/C, etc. Plus I made last min drunken "what the fuck" moments, that ended up fucking me in the long run. Being an impulsive fuck with no patients with ADD has not helped me much... Hell my last flower instead of cleaning up after the prior harvest, I just threw clones in that shit that were barely even rooted, lmfao... Had problems before after freaking about spider mites, My dumb ass sprayed the plants with solvent with the damn light on, and it burned almost a whole crop to devastation. This time, as I find out I have a plant that hermied, I also stumble onto my white fly problem, which I believe furthered the pollination cause the flies were probably spreading the damn pollen all over. Had bulb's break in the middle of flowering and had to order more, had RF issues with a digital ballast, and had cable companies shutting off my damn internet etc cause My ballast was interfering with a lot of there shit, which led to last min scrambling and trashing of a whole harvest. Then Eventually I got a magnetic ballast and started fresh. Basically, just problem after problem, which most of them could have been avoided if I had done enough research, thought shit through, used more sterilization, yada, yada. But With all the problems I've been through in the last year n change, It's brought me to were i am now. If I had not experienced the problems, I would not know how to fix them, and prevent them. Now I'm pretty confident in my abilities, and with a solid strain or two, and proper equipment, and the knowledge i now have, I could easily have a much larger grow, that should be almost flawless. This forum has helped a ton!

I pulled 8 ounces from a Sativa dom plant.
I flower under a 400 watt HPS and two 95 watt T5 HO side fixtures.
Got 5 oz.s on my last plant, (same flavor), I expect at least 8 on my current plant.
(Again same Unkown bag seed being flowered it's the 3rd in a row, all started July 2013)
Barring any dumb moves on my part!

Yeah, I think 9 oz is a good guess..

I think you could have gotten a LB with more veg time... Under 1000hps.. I would grow them to about 14 inches tall at least before flipping the lights..

Looks good though man. Nice clean setup and nice clean looking plants..

I would veg under cfl's, then veg under the HID for a few weeks, then flip the HID to 12.12..

You can veg under HPS just fine. Don't be afraid to do it.. They are just as good as Metal Halide for veg.. better, imo.

Hell yeah! Hard to stumble onto some mistake seed that likes to produce something other than problems, you lucked out finding a good gal, hold her tight ! LOL

The light that the tower fan produces is green so that wouldn't be a problem would it ???

If you do things right all the way thru flower, you should be looking at several lbs. Sounds like you are doing everything right and very clean and organized. However, if you have 8 girls in a 4 x 4, you will be way too crowded when you get into flower. Max I do is 5 in a 4 x 4. You might also want to trim the bottoms. Good luck and keep us informed bro. I've heard the green light is ok, but I would cover it anyway. Bird dog is right about you being crowded, but you can do it. Looks like you flipped em at a good height for that many plants. Are you going to scrog the tent? It might help when things get thick in there. I'll follow the thread keep us posted.

My setup is pretty close to what you are running I have 7 plants in 6.5gal pots but i vegged for 6 weeks and under a 1k MH. I have been in flower for about 25 days now. This is also my first grow and i had the same question you did. I am hoping for at least around 1oz a plant if i get more i will be happy if i get less better luck next time. Here are a few pics of my girls at 25 days flower they are little over 3ft tall and over 2ft wide. Be ready for them to double or triple in size during flower! I thought my room was going to plenty big but its not!

Holy hell! I thought i had a lot of problems so for with my first grow but i just read all that and mine seems like a cake walk compared to yours. I give u props!

I think you will get atleast 2oz per plant

What do you usually yield with 5 plants under a 1000W HPS?
