I am using a 8" max fan (up to 675 cfm - but i have a speedster hooked to it) to run ambient room air through my cool tubes (2 600w with dimmable ballasts.) I have the fan near the end of the line and there is about 20 feet of duct between the fans and the 2nd light. after the fan theres a few feet of ducting and then a muffler. Do you think I need to have it turned up all the way? Right now i've got the lights at 75% and it's keeping it at 75 with ambient temps in the room at 68-70. That's with the gauge on the speedster at just over the midway point. I just didnt know if there's a point at which i'd be making the fan work too hard. Just thought I'd ask the experts. Thanks.
