Probably our rep as helpers has proceeded us! Remember no good deed will go unpunished! LOL!

I've only had three soil questions in my DIY Bubbleponics Tutorial. We get one daily in the Stealth Hydro thread, and it is all because rumors are spreading "Those BubbleHeads will help you"................"Those guys at the Stealth Hydro thread will help you"................Mostly Crazy will help you.............. Roseman will answer you.....JonnyBtreed will help you.........etc, etc word is spreading.

Look at QUICK LINKS, at UNANSWERED QUESTIONS. Hundreds of good folks visit this site and ask questions that never get answered. Wors Spreads. Ask a BubbleHead. MC, Chief Mostly Crazy, you have, we have a helluva gang here, a most polite, kind, helpful considerate gang too. Sort of like a brotherhood.

Look at this thread..................many non-Bubbleheads are posting here. look at the BH GANG thread, all sorts of visitors posting there. look at the BubbleHead Showcase..............all sort of people posting pics there that are not even BubbleHeads.

If we did more recruiting, we'd ............well,,,you know...........

Most if not all on the bubbleheads just want to help others and just can't help themselves. It's a good thing. Starting to sound like we have a few that are starting up a grow also. You're tutorial is invaluable!

i get a kick out of how people with dirt grows are terrified to try bubbles. i think its way easier, and with water you acually have a clue what your plants uptake is. no overwatering.....so many pros to bubbles. for all you dirt bags reading this, buy a bucket, a air pump, and airstones, then come on over to the dark side.:-P

on a bubble scrog, i see how you can drain water, but how can you clean out your res withought hurting the planst in the screen. i have to lift my net pot totally out, and place it in another bucket. then dump out water and clean by hand each time. then refill .

Looks metal halide. You could use if for vegging if it's new. However, you realize hid lighting deteoriates with use so it may be an old light and
not any good for growing?

And that's why if you are going to do a bucket scrog you need a drain on each bucket! LOL!
I'll be putting one in before I ever use that bucket again!!!!!

I plan on suspending the makeshift lid that holds the net pot from the Screen itself, and lift the whole plant, screen and all. It should keep me from damaging anything, but it will be a hassle to move all those lights!! Oh well, it's the best Idea I have for the short term....

Thought it was a small hps from the color and shape of the bulb from what I could see. Harry is right that they do degrade significantly. Replacement bulbs are cheap enough.

If you want to lift the lid in a ScrOG the best way is to secure the screen to the lid so that the lid and screen move as one.

Keep your water clean and you shouldn't need to clean the res the entire grow, in my opinion. Don't over-nute, keep the water temp down or use H2O2 if you can't, etc.

I think I'm going with your Idea, I'm getting an R/o system soon so I should have pristine water.. (i think)
