Its the "Smirnoff effect".

They figure (some) people will assume higher price equates to higher quality. In this case, its a simple scam. Not only can you can buy the exact same se-eds in the pack of "Doggie's Nuts" at a fraction of the price under a different label, but even then the genetics are still mediocre.

They operate under the logic " a fool and his money are easily parted" .Kite is just right in saying it's all about greed aswell ,rich idiots with lots of money who want to brag about their expensive seeds.In fact it is a pretty good business model ,might be unethical but all they have to do is reel in 2 suckers a month and they have a nice income.The world is FULL of suckers btw ,so i would say they have done pretty well out of repackaging other breeders genetics.


I can't hate for this kind of greed, it only hurts the ones dumb enough to spend that much on the seeds.
If I take a dump in a bag and someone offers me $1000 for it, that bag of shit is worth $1000.
