man its shocking how fast most people wanna give up on lights... i have yet to finish a product with these lights, i really dont think it is fair to judge an unfinished product. i am very new at growing, ive had one finished crop ever, under hid, and it wasnt any bigger than what is on this current plant. i blame the grower, not the lights. instead of giving up on leds, just by what A LOT of people (not just the last post) have said on here, im just trying to get my nutrients in check. on an upside, my clones are budding much faster than this purple plant. the clone on the right in the front is at week 3 of 12 12, where the other purp was just throwing pistils out and establishing bud sites. 3 weeks and its nuggin from bottom to top, and already crystals on it. the massive amount of crystals is there, yield will come through a few grows, as with any other form of lighting, takes a bit to figure out how to use them to their full advantage. in the past week i have moved the lights closer to the plants and removed the uv ir light, as i have read that can burn plants as well. the week before i added some supplemental lighting. improvements will be ongoing.

that being said, i am a newbie, i think the buds are comin along nicely, but if anyone has any suggestions that dont involve stopping the use of leds for flowering, i am open for suggestions/advice

yea i think the lights have potential. those plants did get set back a lot by the nute fuck ups. they still look nice and sticky tho. youll still get some good smoke off those. the next run should go better, now you know more.

mmmmm, those nugs look tasty. you will notice that your plants will be much more sensitive to nutes when growing under LED. with my first test (250w LumiGrow) i had much more 'Rams Horn' (leaves curling under). for my current test (330w LumiGrowES) i am using 1/4 strength with the flower boosters. i am also gonna load them up with more carbs/sugars this go around. i will be keeping my eye on this thread, you are doing an excellent job bro. much props. lets GROW THE WORLD GREEN!

i grow in soil. never check ppm. i never even checked ppm when running my aero and had really decent results. i just use a little at a time. always start with a small amount, then let your plants let you know if they want more. just the way i do it. of course the companies wont mention that you will need to adjust your nute method, they just want to sell the units and not scare off anyone. i see this as another BONUS in favor of LEDs, less nutes, less boosters, less water, less heat, MORE SAVINGS!!!! they should be advertising that shit.

I'm using one 90 watt UFO (pretty new one with NO orange and added infareds) with 3 32 watt CFLs. My plants look TOTALLY different than these. I think you're right about set backs from nute burn etc. Here's a picture of mine. Just changed res to week 4 Fox Farm hydro schedule. Proofs in the puddin though...gotta wait to flower.

led grow here to buddy

using 13W x 5 blue spotlights for veg (2 plants).

Used 10 red spotlights for flowering. I had short spaces between nodes (almost no spacing), and THICK nugs that STUUUNNKKK

regardless i hardly post about my leds because ppl hate. Maybe ppl talk shit bc they use them and dont want anyone else to. haha
