Will that 70w HPS be enough for 1 nice plant. also do i neeed a ballast with it?.

I think this is the right bulb and is the one its using if ur wondering im pretty sure. Basiically just want to know if that first link is the right think to use as a light. However i think its kelvin is 2050k should that be okay for flowering or what?

The ballast will be built in to the fitting. You will probably want to take it apart, extend the ballast to somewhere out of your grow area, and remove the glass/plastic for more light, but none of this is strictly necessary, just recommended.

But yes, that will work fine for a small micro grow, or as supplemental lighting for a larger grow.

I'm assuming that you're in UK..I know its an event to get shit there.. that light should be self contained..email them and ask... try to get as much W as you can... luck.

I'd recommend 1 70watt HPS per square foot. You may be able to get away with a larger area, if you supplement with some CFLs.

Yeah for sure, for a smaller plant. I would only let it veg for a week or two, then switch to flowering... But if you let iot get big you will still be ok, but the yeild just wont be that great.
the kelvin is ok too, 2700, but 2050 should be fine.
What I would do, as mentioned about, is supplement the plant with the CFL's throught he flowering as well. You should do just fine.
