70 watt hps

will a 70 watt hps light work ok need to know i got one for free

That's good if you got it for free, but you need more lights. How many plants are you growing? And you need a ballast for the hps if it didn't come with it.

i got the ballest .i also have like 4 cfls and mylar all together might be ok

Yea that's good for vegetative, put the lights about 3 1/2 inches away from the plant so it doesn't stretch. When it starts flower you need a little more power though, how much are you willing to put into this project?

its good for one plant but thats about it
i'm using a 70 watt hps and 4 warm light cfls on 1 plant so far so good.
she's flowering nice.

70W HPS sucks, better than nothing, but 250W is min I would recommend to anyone.
