70 WATT HPS FIXTURE??Where to get one

I got an mini HPS 70watt bulb and tryed to plug it into an incandsent dome fixture. It fits in to the standard fixture but doesnt turn on. that when i realize that i need some kind HPS fixture . I check at local hardwood stores , even one of the biggest one in the state, and that hardwood store only had a street light socket and that to big. Please help me. i need for my flower season

Is it a 70 watt HQI bulb ? You tried to plug it into a halogen light socket ? You will need a special ballast and wiring skills to make it work, better off buying the $20 150 watt HPS that is popular on here, you save money and get better bud.
