7 weeks flowering......

I have a girl thats been flowering under cfl's for seven weeks and i have

noticed lately that more and more hairs are turning red/brown and dying, i

would say a 10th of all the hairs on each nug are red and dead looking, it is a

sativa so it should have a lot longer to go.

any thoughts

i have 6 girls under cfl's and a lot of the hairs turned red and brown after 4 weeks flowering. i think it is due to the heat and closeness of the cfl's in proximity to the hairs. i could be wrong lol. i wouldnt think the plant is done just by the appearance of the hairs though.

ya lol i am just freaking out because i have heard they do this when they self polinate..
i know it isnt heat however, because they are doing this on nugs in the middle of the plant also... temps 75 btw.

do they do this when they hermi too?

The hair going brown
is only telling u that this part as grown up for what it had to do
others white pistil will continue to appear and grow
that how the bud gets bigger
for sure when u get maybe 25% browner hair
u are getting closer to the end
but u can look up at the trichome and see what color they are
there should be getting amber looking when ready !
i never saw this on my plants
but did it with a friend of mine
ill try and look my trichome this grow and see what happens
