Nice and frosty bro, welcome to the forum

I am a big fan of amber trichs for judging how close they are. Lookin real tasty

thanks its a constant worry if they look right when its ya first grow im pretty sure the trichs are pretty clear still i wanna harvest at 50 amber 50 cloudy its just so tempting when it smells so good

You should flush, the taste is definitely noticeable. I always pull mine down a little earlier than that, mostly because I need the money and have no choice - but anyways everybody likes my bud more than most people in town and I think that's why.

they are close to done.

organic nutes or not, its time to start checking trichomes, and start feeding pure water. you want atleast a week of pure water and no nutrients before harvest, preferably 2 weeks. when you've checked the trichomes, and they look cloudy/amber, its time to harvest. turn the light off for 2 days, no liquids, then chop, trim, hang, wait, cure, wait, smoke, cure, wait, smoke....

no, they will finish up just fine on plain water. One of the many disputes on here is people arguing that the flavor of the bud will be chemical tasting if you dont stop nutes 2 weeks before harvest.

look at them with out the hps on ...you will see the color much better...or cut a tiny little sample leaf off one of the buds, take it out of area and look through your loupe.

Looks good!! As stated its difficult to judge even the colors of the pistils with the hps on in a picture. Looking at the trichomes is definitely the best method of determining ripeness.

These are at 6 weeks IMG_20111230_231948.jpg
