7 under 250w hps

This is my first grow and I've decided to throw seven... yes seven plants under a 250w hps for flowering(plus a few supplemental cfls) I have read many debates about the number of plants for a 250w hps. I thought I would find out for myself.

I vegged for three weeks under only 100 watts of cfl. Vegged an additional week under 250w hps.

5 White widows, 2 Mazar x afghan(short gals)

-after three week cfl vegging.

-(present)28 days into flower (Widows 3 feet, afghan 2 feet)

As far as I can tell seven plants seem to do just fine under a 250w(+few cfls), but I could be mistaking as this is my first grow. It also maybe important to note that I rotate all the plants every two days for watering; which helps the plants get light to the temporarily shaded areas. I can continue to update until harvest if requested, just over one month of budding action to go.

comments or questions, I hope someone finds this information useful.

I think they look good bro :)

You are not growing GIANT plants so at that size you should get some good/ dense buds. Nice job and good luck with the rest of your grow.

thanks for sharing. how close are you keeping the light to the tops?

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I will continue to update. 13"-16" from the bulb seems to be a good distance for my set-up which is 4' x 2'.

here are some facts of the closet.
4' x 2' x 8'

75-89 night/day temp

7 plants in 1 gallon containers.

mylar on everything but ceiling.

exhaust fan in ceiling, passive intake.

250w hps(standard bulb, HTG on the way), 32 watts of cfls.

This grow will hopefully help show that it is possible to get a good yield from less than perfect circumstances. :peace:

89 is kinda warm is there no way you can knock 5 or 6 degrees off of that???if you can you will see a difference in your plants.....and if you cant get the temp down i would recamend you run some co2 by them....you can run homemade co2 for pennies...yest suger 2 liter bottle shake thats it that will help alot as well.....if anything i said here helped you dont for get to +rep........
