7-Band 432w LED Grow Light htgsupply

Hello, I have 2 each 7-Band 432w LED Grow Light from htgsupply. I also have an Agromax Window Grow Tent - Size Large (55 x 55 x 79). Do I have enough lumens to flower 20 plants in a SOG? Or do I need to buy more?

I retired my HTG after a few months. It works fine, but is a drain on the plug. You could probably use another 1 or 2 of them for that tent though. Good luck!

Are you saying they are more expensive to run? My main concern is a lower heat signature. Just hoping the HTG will last longer than a few months. Especially if I purchase 2 more of them. Or I could go for the Area-51... Was your switch due to the quality of the plants from the HTG lighting? For the cost of these lights they should last a lot longer than a few months. Curious on your decision to switch.

I actually bought my HTG from A51 as well, but basically with A51 you're getting more light for less electrical pull. I can vouch that A51 also runs cooler, the SGS is the coolest LED I've ran so far.

The HTG had a lot of blue so I was vegging great with it, and I know it will produce buds so don't worry about that, but it's almost old technology now. Search the boards and you will see a lot of HTG failures.

I was fine with HTG until I got an A51.. Just like I was fine with my last generation Focus, but when I upgraded to this past years model, I COULD NEVER GO BACK. lol

HTG = flank steak
A51 = filet mignon

I would recommend sending the folks at A51 an email. They are usually more than willing to answer any questions and they will have info on that exact light because they ran some tests with it before I bought it from them.

Thank you for taking the time to explain. I will look them up! I have heard good things about A51. I might just get a couple of those and add them to the mix.

I haven't seen a ton of review on the Hans. Wondering if anyone has any experience comparing the Hans 80 Watt against the HTG or even the SGS/HGS by A51?
