I dont think we can host the competition due to forun rules. I've asked rollitup (potroast).

We had sponsors lined up, method seven glasses, nutes, ffilters etc. As prizes.

I reported your post and asked for a moderator to comment. I don't understand the purpose of that rule, especially if you are now an official sponsor. In any case even if you can't do it here, could be cool to have a comp that isn't tied to a forum, could be the cross forum comp, the party cup world championship, lol.

Same here, although I'll do what I can to honor our commitment.

I've been trying to get Gorilla on as an official sponsor for about a month now.
I can get a response from moderators, but admin is who I need to get back to me.

We reached out to companies that want to give back to the community. of course we cant give everyone something do a competition would be a good idea. We are not profitting. We are actually losing money with all the prizes but that doesn't matter because we're giving back.

Its seems like its hard to give back. We are actually giving away things that doesn't have to do anything with us. We were looking into LEDs as prizes too.

Ive looked into advertising on RIU, they take a different approach to web advertising so i have not decided how i want to proceed with it.

Im sorry to hear that you cannot do the cup how you want @provisionseeds. LOL looks like we both lost our signature images as well due to the advertising policies.

Gorilla seed bank as well. I think we will proceed with the contest somewhere else if admin doesn't reply. Im waiting on potroast to see if we can still do it. But its up to him as he has to follow rules as well. Maybe it can be an exception.

We have sponsors ready for the prizes, I think we will move foward one way or another.

So couldn't you just get the minimal advertising package to get around this? Sounds like a $9-250 investment from the advertising link in your signatures.

Ya we tried many times, error message

Seems kinda counter intuitive to actively prevent companies from advertising while sanctimoniously not replying to requests.

I'm a bit surprised, but all but the runt seem to be showing sex now. Looks like #1 is male and #2,#3,and #4 are female, only the runt hasn't shown sex. That runt might be a cool thing, looks like it's going to buy me a week or more to decide.

This whole sponsoring/advertising scenario is rather unfortunate. It seems like it should be something that's easily overcome, but.........Well @bf80255 thank you for the compliment, I'm really not a trash talker myself unless the person really deserves it or I know them really well.
