6th Official Party Cup Grow Competition!!!!!!

Here's my weekly update no signs of sex except the Lucky 7 which was a male bummer. The avengers and Ninga Turtles look like they have some heat stress it's getting a little warm in my garage and maybe a little to much N but still kickin over watered spiderman but it'll survive "knock on wood." Lowed the nutes so hopefully it'll stop the over N!

WALMART SELLS 16OZ PARTY CUPS! If you're gonna buy a whole sleeve, go to walmart and pick up some character party cups! its really f'ing easy... On top of that walmart sells them online- for $0.97 a piece...... C'mon guys WTF?!

Whelp, one girl, two boys, just waiting on the straggler. My next update will probably be my declaration post.

I figured out the issue with my hempy's . I was under watering them. 2 have bounced back. Still a little faded. Within the week they should be a darker green. The super coco one is killing it though.

My soil mix is too well draining. Prevents over wating, but it dries to a husk really quickly.

I've had a couple like that. To much perlite, almost hempy.

Miracle Grow's soil mix doesn't drain that well, but with such a small cup, I don't worry too much

well I just read everyone's messages. I was gonna post a video of me filling the cups with 16oz but I dunno how to post a video.

I can still post it despite the ruling if someone can tell me how too? 16oz of water filled up the cups all the way except for the brim where the lip is rolled. That's why I said they were 16 oz.. I didn't know anything about stamps on the bottom so before the comp I measured out 16 oz fluid with measuring cup then into the cups. I didn't realize the rolled lip which is a 1/8 inch or less was 2 ounces.

Anyways no Problem @FrozenChozen, I'll be here for the next comp. I don't remember buying other cups though, so I have no clue how the only red cups I have were in that bag unless maybe my shitty memory is missing something.

@Ace Yonder, No worries man, I just got tired of the whole cup controversy myself, didn't realize I would be caught up in it myself. So I do apologize to you, the other person and everyone else. I wasn't trying to start anything or cause issues/problems. No hard feelings and it's all good. Like I said previously I have no problems showing what is asked for, even if it means I am wrong. Just took me awhile due to the fact that I couldn't even really walk. And thanks I appreciate everything you said as well, back pain is a bitch I've been dealing with this since 2008 and had surgery in 2011, didn't help for shit.

To everyone else I do apologize again, as I explained I measured out the fluids and that's why I thought they were 16oz. I'll still post along show people how the plants turn out,vote, and see how everyone else is doing, Good luck to all! there are lot nice looking plants this comp. And Frozen, great job with the way you have been putting this comp together man, you have gone above and beyond with graphics, recruiting vendors for prizes, etc. Just all around amazing job brother. I would also like to thank all the vendors who have donated prizes, and can not thank you guys enough for your support on the forum and this competition that's turning into a nice tradition.

Just gave it a quick glance back, and it would seem that Cococola managed to place 5th (According to Byleetch's spreadsheet) in the last comp using an 18oz Hefty Easy Grip. Wonder how many 18oz cups have actually slipped through in the past. IMO next comp should have a mandatory photo of the bottom of cup with size identifier to be included with every first post.

I completely agree as I have already mentioned even though I neglected to notice that mine were not even the proper size.

Moved some stuff around so now she has the light all to herself

I have been too broke to replace the dang thing anyways :0P re arranged side lighting FTW.

Topped her sometime last week, Thinking now a mistake, she instantly shot out pistols ( didn't think much about light schedule. DOH!)

Until pyday she is being hand watered as the 1/2 hose she was being watered with was stolen to keep my AC operational until I can replace the condensation removal pump.

Update #4

Blue lime pie is out, male. My other 4 not showing but I know they're close. Just because there's no hint of maleness in the 4 left I'm thinking they're fems. Of course the lsd is a fem seed so it's a given. I go back and forth which ones I might choose, each one has good attributes but the blue power and alien bubba are filling in the best. I may just flip a coin because they're all looking great.

Well, at the end people will be getting antsy to vote and so they should remember that there was germination period that allowed until the end of Feb.

Update #3:

#1 cup might be showing first sign of sex, if so it's likely male.

Just a fyi, my friend bought a couple scales at harbor freight and gave me one. It's a decent size scale and plugs in or takes batterys. Set a 500 grm weight on it and was accurate. On sale for 19.95.

I'm curious about whats in the glass jar, also, can you see the roots through the glass from the bottom? Did you just tape to the jar? Drainage? You have a very interesting setup, would like to see more about how you designed/built it. I think upside down cup may have a decent advantage with the wider bottom where the roots like to be heaviest.
