I'm sure i've over saturated...that's pro growers speak for I fucked up and over watered....lol..it's just so hard to go more than 3-4 days without watering.

I don't like that you call my ruling "bullshit". I take offense to that, I have never said that ANYTHING you have done, thought of, or are doing is "bullshit". I could really care less if you think its fair that everyone else already got a free pass, you had a free pass, and didn't use it. You wanna roll the dice and see if you have one left?
So that you, @Ace Yonder and the rest of the entrants are ENTIRELY aware, everyone still has a free pass, they expire at 8:00 PM march 27th 2015 (Alaska Standard time)

What is the advantage to your ruling over the other more popular option that appears more fair? That is my only question. It's much easier to accept something when we can understand the thinking of the person making the ruling.

My intention was not to call your ruling bullshit, I was trying to express the way I would feel about that potential situation were I in it, I'm sorry you took it that way, and I appologise for the poor choice of words and lack of clarity. It was not my intention to insult or offend you. However, I stand by the position I was expressing, and I still don't understand why the admittedly less fair option is more in the spirit of the competition, but I will 100% respect your ruling. No more "bitching" from me.

Its more fair because no one wants to keep track of who's late or who's not, if YOU want to, know that trying to get someone DQ'd is "not within the spirit of the competition"... I don't want any "winners by default".... Winning because no one else is there to compete is not fun.

Ponder that.

Except for the fact that @bryleetch HAS been keeping track, and regularly posts the spreadsheet showing when everyone updated and who was on time and who was late, all color coded and everything, plus there was/is a separate thread that is devoted entirely to posting the dates of and links to updates linked in @Sire Killem All 's sig. So it's really not true to say that no one wants to keep track of it, because people already are.

Edit: Also, your ruling, which was that all future late posts will be DQ, requires JUST as much keeping track of who's late and who's not as the other proposed solution. Ponder that.

Well mine won't be scaring anyone off, so I might as well throw one up. Cabinet is getting mighty crowded, so everyone's been tied down again 'cept the rather runty fool's gold. Actually hoping a good portion of them are males so I can clear them out and make space, I don't think I'll have enough room to bring more than 2 fully through flower. That only leaves room for my contestant and one runner up, so unless 3 are male it's gonna get real sophie's choice up in here pretty soon, and I'm not looking forward to that.

Its funny that you want to keep arguing. When I said that no one "wants" to keep track of when people update, I meant that no one wants to keep track with the intentions of trying to win by default and if that is their objective, they're sadly mistaken, THERE WILL BE NO WINNERS BY "DEFAULT".
I'm done arguing, and so are you, everyone else is too.
I left time for QUESTIONS, not whining because you don't think life is fair. You know where the door is. I don't want you to feel cheated out of a win. The only reason this ruling has been forced out is because of the abuse of the leniency on prompt updates. You guys are the ones that made my decision, the members that have no problem updating on time have hardly made a peep, and have actually asked you to STFU already.

If you or anyone else wants to complain about the fairness of the rules, you have 2 choices, Fuck off, or win. That's it. Trust that when I say that, its your last and only warning.

I want no more sandy crotches around here.... If you got one, take a day, wipe or wash it out, and come back with a lemon scented happy attitude, ready to grow and win something cool.

I don't appreciate the negative comments made toward me. I don't appreciate being told that my solutions are "bullshit", when in my eyes, DQing for a late update is kinda bullshit. I wanted as I said "The lesser of 2 evils". I apologized in advance, and was still criticized and second guessed.

Funny thing is my eight year old has no problem abiding by my rules, without question. He also doesn't bitch after I have made my decision, no matter how butt hurt he is....
