What happened with the lady bugs? Most I think will just fly away.
i will be ordering them this week, im sure there will be alot of lose but there are still aphid eggs and the odd bug in the plants that i can get rid of. a ladybug can eat something like 60 aphids a day plus everything from mites to leafhoppers. ill take a video of me releasing them...ill post it if the video isnt shit lol

These are absolutely beautiful Bruce! They're as big as mine which have been in the ground! You're using top feeding only? Do you agitate the soil when applying your nute powders? Next year clones great, Urkles are amazing for pain relief, can't recommend them enough. Would be great to hear your soil ratios.

Ya, small backyard, my neighbours tolerate it... I’ve asked and tried to be open so if they had problems I would think they would have come to me already... mind you this year they are huge and twice the size of last years so it will be pushing it I think with the aromas lol.

Oh and a neighbour called the cops, so last week I had a fun conversation with them. Once they saw that there was the legal limit of 4 plants And I was well within the law They relaxed. we ended up talking about how I got them so big and other growing questions, and locals that had more then the limit. I am now glad I could have the conversation, 3 years ago I would have been arrested. #IloveCanada

Just wondering, I looked real hard at photos and I don't see a lot of budding action. You mentioned Canada, do you have enough season to finish???
I just cut down a 4 headed 9' skunk that hadn't started, because mid November is well past the growing season in my zip code in Colorado.

Greetings from Massachusetts. You got a great set up and your plants look real lush. My question is in regards to the 65 g fabric pots. Your plants are big. What type of soil mix did you use? I have two plants in 15 g fabric pots. Got a late start as the plants did not go into a large receptacle until first week of June. My plants just started to bud and I have only been feeding worm casings. I just got some Jack 10-20 -30 for the bloom. Never used that stuff before. Man the goal next season is to get some large plants like yours. Any tips for that is appreciated. These are grand daddy purple(supposedly) did not get big and we had a real hot hot summer.

It will be close. That’s why I’m doing a heavy defoliate and lollipop to reduce pm, plus I will be tarping them off with a clear tarp if it gets two far into October.

I my soil was a big mix of local products, a homemade a mix of; promix, compost, perlite, vermiculite, coco fiber, cow manure, goat manure, and mineral dust. Quantity in that order iirc. The goal was an organic living soil. I’ve since added a 20kg bag of worm castings per pot, and my top dressing fertilizer of Gaia green veg and power bloom.

You have to water smart pots every 2-3 days, I resorted to a weeping hose.
