6500k or 7800k

is 7800kelvin better or worse than 6500k for seedlings? (flourescent tubes)Thanx for any help...

Worse.. use 6500k for veg. and 2700k for flower bro. Hope this helps!

stick to the 6,500s,closer to the suns spectrum,7800 is too blue-white to help.

The 6500k is better but plants can utilize light up to about 10K or so. The 7800 k lights wouldn't be totally useless if thats all ya got.

I tottally disagree. These guys have no experience, I do. The grow lights you get at walmart are 7800k and they are awesome and make your plants grow bushy and healthy with the nodes close together. I got 4 of em and use to vegitate 3 to 4 plants. Then flower under 400w hps in a mylar tent. Ive been searching for a large light system using 7800k but Im still searching. I figure if you used both 6500 and 7800 it would be even better.
