630w cmh SOG hydro grow Part 2

Yeah they are looking really nice. Did I see that gelato there? 9th picture in? Sorry to hear about them not filling out as well. Yeah I found pruning during flower wa , to harsh on them last time around. This time around, I have been putting a bend in the fan leaf stems so they are more out of the way. I wait to hear the little snap but do it without breaking the outer layer of the stem. Less stressful for them doing that I found personally. My rule is during flower I don't prune. Leaves will yellow up n such on their own. They just fall off by touch when they need to go. Who knows. Maybe I'm damn wrong lol. Just what's worked for me better so far.

Nice and productive grow, looking forward to seeing your new grow space when it's ready. I haven't dropped in to your thread as often as I should but boy it looks well.

Yeah 9th picture in and in the center on the 10th. Yeah I wanted to strip them down like that to see if they would produce fatter buds per the theory out there, but seems like it's a bust. Who knows until I do a final dry weight, the buds are pretty dense. When everything is dried, I'll do a per plant weight break down like I did on my last journal.

Thanks man, haven't been able to post every few days like I wanted to, but I'm coming up pretty close to harvest so I'll be posting as much as I can to keep track of bud development. I'm also going to start another journal because I already have some clones from this crop 2 weeks into veg. Hope you follow along.

Oh for sure dude. I'll absolutely be following your next one for sure. When you do it up post a link and I'll keep track of that one too. Yeah seems barneys farm plants have really nice thick stems and such. Not as big a producer as they claim though thus far lol. But looks like it Wil be good though regardless. I wasn't keen on everything I'd been reading about barneys farm before but after growing one out myself and seeing yours as it grew up makes me less Leary and more curious now. I threw the last of the seeds I had left to germinate now. Just wanna clear them out for my new sets of seeds. Grabbing sour patch kiss by Elev8 I believe it is, but sweet gorilla breathe by humbolt, and king tut by pyramid seeds. I don't want to shut humbolt out just yet over the black dog and ewe-2. Their gorilla breathe is my last trial for them. So far karma and dna genetics are the hands down breeder winners for me. I do want to breed a couple on my own in future and see how that goes lol... But well into the future

Sooo.. Elev8 is concerning thus far. . If you ever consider them.. Proceed with extreme caution lol. Every other brand I just germinated 2out of 3 popped or 3 out of 3 popped... One out of three for two of their strains popped.... Like clockwork Strange enough eh. 1/3 on each Elev8 strain popped. Concistent lol but. . Not in a good way so far.. And they are popping slowly really.

Your gdp looks picturesque man. Legit. Really really nice. I keep looking all the time lol. Can't wait to see the finished up photos soon I'd imagine no? And let me know when you start your next grow too, I'd love to follow that one.

I take it that's the end of the journal? Is there another one started? How did the blue gelato end up turning out bud?

Hey dude curious why you used the floranova grow during flower? I saw you used bloom first few weeks then switched back to grow?? Your end results were nice either way. Just curious.. I’ve used nova bloom before n I liked it but never grow for flower
