Sounds good. Are these honey ES and sweet like flavor enhancers or something? And if so how do they work if you have used them already?????

damn nice nice. wish I had that much bud. Oh well I'll get there, when I do get to use my hid setup I'll be pretty good at growing bud already so I'm not complaining. Are you planning on starting more right away or hold off a bit?

how far away do you keep your light in your flower room? and how far is the light away from your clone dome? i always seem to keep mine to close and my clones turn yellow.

i keep my flowering light 1ft from the canopy, my veg it doesnt matter, the clone light is far away clones can root easy, alot of light stresses them out.

so i have 8 mason jars full.

the buds started gettin a lil crispy to touch but the stems were still a lil bendy.

i cut the buds off the big stems, let them sit on some cheese cloth and a metal grate over a box for 2 hours, tossed them around a little..

now i have them in jars, going to open it for 30-45 at midnight in 4 hours.

i dont have a scale yet, going to get one tomorrow.

will keep you posted with harvest weight.

im guessing 1oz per plant.

pic update, just watered..

5gal with 5 cups of seltzer water

20ml bloom
20ml honey es
10ml deuce deuce
30ml sweet

i water 1 liter each
nice journal, nice strain thanks for the good example of flo, you look like you know mostly what you are doing.

As far as seltzer in the feed can i ask where you got that idea? everyone i have ever exchanged techniques with has said that is pointless and possibly detrimental.

The leaves absorb CO2 which is why CO2 systems measure ppm in the AIR not the soil, roots absorb OXYGEN which is why aeroponics and dwc works so well; highly oxygenated rootzones.

Roots don't absorb CO2 and adding that to the soil would actually cause a not so friendly root environment for a short period of time, or at least that is my understanding.

What might be better is if you used an air pump in your feed/solution instead of that seltzer water, (air pumps are like 20 bucks with an air stone at pet stores) for a few hours to oxygenate the feed more.

Here is one link with some more info, foliar feeding seltzer can be good

I know i have also read some Ed Rosenthal info on this subject as well as some other unknown reputable sources.

If i am mistaken please post a link with the root science; i lurk every forum and seldom if ever post, just try to prevent the spread of misinformation.

Great journal tho!!! Was a fun read and thanks again for the preview of flo bongsmilie

P.S. didn't read it anywhere in your journal but did you give them 24-48 hours of dark/colder temps before the chop? supposed to increase last minute resin production as well as induce stronger coloring / remove nutrients from buds into the roots for a smoother, prettier smoke.... haven't traversed the world of purple strains yet myself but i try to absorb as much "proven" information as i can bongsmilie
