Earlier today - which was really yesterday - we did some pruning of a lot of big fan leaves that were not only taking up too much space, but covering nodes from getting good light, as well as interfering with airflow. After this "haircut" the girls have a bunch more room and the light isn't obstructed like before with all the foliage.
I'm making this quick because I'm tired as hell and I'm leaving in about two hours (530am) to go camping with some good people for a week. Should be great times, going to Yosemite area...a bit further south though.
Enjoy the pics, I'll give another update and meaningless rant when I get back around the 31st. peace
King, Out.

FYI, it's never a good idea to prune your leaves. Your leaves are where your plant gets it's energy and the leaves are responsible for producing big flowers.

Hey guys,
I appreciate the comments and info, its a good way to learn.
Camping was excellent - for those who enjoy the outdoors I can't say enough how awesome it is to get out in the middle of nowhere for some extended days.
Its a good thing I have my cuz to back me up tho taking care of the garden. It's looking great, hairs are shooting out all over, nugs are forming, and they're starting to get more pungent....which is fantastic:hump:

We've noticed one of the purple hawaiian's is getting brown spots and curling leaves...thats the thing with growing different strains with one res. some do well with the nutrients and amount of nutes - others may not like the same recipe. regardless its only a few branches of the plant showing any signs at all, and the other purp hawaiians are doing great.
At any rate I changed the nutrient recipe a bit more for aggressive flowering so we'll see how the purp hawaiian reacts to that.
Any help or diagnosis would be appreciated on that.

Enjoy the pics, thanks for reading

Do you have any thoughts about this grow compared to your previous grows? I know the indoor growers are watching the results of your LED setup. I'm just along for the ride and the money shots at the end.:hump:

Hey Pablo, honestly I've only grown outdoor previously so I can't really give a watt for watt comparison - I'm hoping others will be able to help us out with that...The only indoor I did was only vegged inside under cfl's and then put outside for flowering.

the new pics look nice, that light setting is pretty wicked.
Thanks man, the plants are absolutely devouring the light, so yea I think they're happy with them too :)

Looking good King keep up the good work.
Thanks Buddha, will do - you're not gonna have to tell me twice :)

Looking great king. Like everyone else , super pumped to see how the buds turn out. Right now I have a 90wt ufo running, and love it! Where did you get your lights from? I'm growing in a small tent so heat is a big concern.. and that's why I chose the leds. Prove people wrong with this grow!

Sweet man thanks for checking my grow out! I got my lights online from china - MUCH better deals than buying from a store in the US. Do some searching if you're interested, definitely worth it. And yea, no comparison when HPS are 1200 degrees and LED's are 105. So worth it, and they're showing great flowering results so far - I'm all about them:)

couple pics from phone - real quick update, everything is looking splendid. I'm changing the res tomorrow and will be upping the nutes for more vigorous flowers.
I'll also take better pics tomorrow and upload them probably on saturday with a better update.
peace.
