600W heat Question

I plan to have an approx. 4' x 4' x (to ceiling) grow area and it would be enclosed similar to a grow tent. But it will be dry walled and insulated, 400cfm exhaust fan with carbon filter, and air cooled 6 in. cool tube.

Question - What kind of heat would a 600w be putting out in a space like that? Also, if heat was a problem how hard would it be to manage?

Using outside air works well at least 9mo out of the year, especially if drawn from a cool place like under a building, where it can work year-round. What CFM you'll need depends what temp air you'll have access to. The main concern is dumping the exhaust somewhere that won't affect the grow area temp.

Your going to be fine with the cool tube. I would say that if you left the exhaust fan off it would likely heat up in the tent to about 90 in about an hour. Your just going to have to spend a couple days monitoring and playing with your exhaust fan to dial in a timer to keep it where you want it.

BEST 30 dollars you will ever spend. My room is fucking DIALED now, mostly because every time I went into the kitchen I could look over at the counter and see what my temps/humidty are up to.

If a 600 has any Air cooled hood or Cool tube it will make Minimal Heat.

haha or bedside stand. wake up and see omfg 95 degrees! .. then again I am looking into LEDs for the heat issue, just cost a little more.. but thanks for the info .. any info about scrogging now?

i know ive been browsing a lot of shit about scrogging.. but one quick ? on it .. how long would it take to fill a screen in a 4x4 with 1 plant compared to with 2 ( twice the time i figured) how many weeks?
