600w Air Cooled - Desperate measure advice needed

Hey fellow growers, i am currently setting up a room like below. I have done as much research up to now although im struggling with calculating static pressure, passive intake sizes & deciding on what inline centrifugal extractor to get. I am also not sure what type of fan & filter i should use for Window ( A ) to block anything foreign coming in the room.

I hope i havent asked too many questions already..

I am hoping to run the room with no ac as for now but i am willing to get the required extractors to keep the 3x3 cabinet well ventilated. I also plan to run some co2 if
i manage the get the light cool enough to leave the cabs main exhaust vent off while the ladies use up the co2.

I am building the cab ( left ) with the dimensions of 3 x 3 and i was wondering if 6 Ft would be good for height ? or should i go less for scrog ?

The Cab on the right is already made, all i need to do is add the fluoro's & another pc fan which should hopefully work out?

Main Cab :

Using a Super sun 2 Reflector

600watt Electronic ballast

Its rated at 0.17 m3/s at 0 Pa. 0.17 m3/s = 612 m3/h x 0.588 = 360 CFM.

6" Diameter

At 100Pa it is rated at 255 CFM.
At 200Pa it is rated at 150 CFM.
At 300Pa it is rated at 72 CFM.

Thank you man the guide will definately come in handy, just need to find out how much i am losing through the ducting. I am also planning on using a AC unit next summer to ensure a good grow, for now funds are low and im confident ill pull off a grow during the winter coming as temps are pretty cool outside ( 20 - 25 ) Degrees celcius.

Hopefully with upgrading the setup next my inline extractor fan will still come in use as i wouldnt like to scrap it.

Peace : ) Thanks again

i run a 1000 watt in a 5'x3' space and use double the size of the exaust for the intake.. so for 6" exhaust i run 2 6" intake holes.. my temps stay at 75 degrees

Bluedreamzy thanks for your help man, do you use single fan setup to cool your hood and extract your cab ? Peace

yes i do carbon filter--hood--fan, pulling air through the hood with a 440 cfm fan and 2 6" intakes at the bottom.. i use insulated ducting to vent hps and run regular ducting and elbows for my intake to block the light ( intake not connected to anything just use the ducting with a few bends to block light) NO FAN FOR INTAKE! also for smaller set ups i used to use the carbon filter pads for my dresser grows taped on the intakes to block light.. hopes this helps

check out my thread under the hydro section.. currently doing a mobile ebb and flow scrog.. will eventually have 3 scrogs in room harvesting 1 every 3 weeks and replacing 1 every 3 weeks for my perpetual.. everything built and ready just waiting on clones atm but i have 1 setup that is 3 weeks into flowering (2 weeks after pistals showed) growing iced grapefruit, c99 and laughing buddha.. will eventually have it so i have 1 strain per ebb and flow table harvesting a diff strain every 3 weeks.. :-)

Thank you for that help there dude, also going to use filters on my passive intakes just gotta find out what static pressure (Pa) your fan runs at, im comparing different fans i can get here the one has 0 cfm output at 350 Pa and the other 0 cfm output at about 300Pa. i will dry look for your posts again in the hydro section , didnt seem to find them dude, as for now im going to try compare the fans now to see what i can go with, thanx again for the help man ! : )

dont worry so much about the static pressure either man.. if it sucks your door shut then make intake a little bigger..

you could probally get away with the 4" 175 cfm fan.. but if you wanna be safe go with the 6" just make intakes a little bigger..

Thanx dude, although the differences between the fans static pressures arent too big, the price difference is the 275cfm fan is half the price, i was just wondering if the 275 cfm fan would push as much as the 360 cfm fan through the ducting and hood seeing as the 275cfm at half price does have higher static pressure its making me think that they pretty much will be the same thing & if thats the case then i got more cash to spend on other grow equip : )

Sweet dude ! : )
