600w 5x4 Closet Grow -- No Exhaust @ Night

I have a 5x4 closet with 9 two week old babies growing under a 600w MH. They will be transferred to 3 gallon grow bags once they fill there current half gallon containers, and I have an oscillating fan blowing on them 24/7. I leave the door open for the entire light cycle and close it for the dark period. There is no exhaust so I am curious if the plants will do ok whenever it comes time to leave the door shut for 12 hours during flowering, and then open the door for the other 12.

Do any of you think this is ok? If I just have the door shut during the dark phase with the fan on.

I think they will be ok since at night theres pratically no heat from the lights, and the fan wil be on to keep the air circulating through the room .

Cheers :)

when i open the door in the morning i can feel the humidity pouring out -- is it ok to have it that humid for the plants for 50% of there life? --- lights on the door is open so no humidity build up -- lights off and door shut the humidity builds up

your problem will be humidity when the light goes out not bad in the start of flowering but at the end if you do not remove the humid air you run the risk of bud rot. try to sort somthing out! the recomended air exchang is 30 x the volume of air in the grow room every hour, watch out for the bud rot 6-8 weeks if you carry on the way you are.

My First grow. I have a 5X5 closet with a 8 foot cieling with no AC vent. Sounds alot like your setup. I could really use some advice. I have constructed my room with little modification because I live in a apartment in CA. I have a 1000W HPS with a Hydrofarm hood hooked up to very dissapointing 6" inline fan from Home Depot that exhaust into the attic. I turned everything on and within 20 min the room is at 91 degrees with the closet door open with a small 8 inch fan blowing cool air in. The rest of the house at 70 degrees. The exhaust fan that is connected to the HPS hood works pretty good because when i pull the hose out of the attic it is blowing pretty hot air out. The hood is sealed besides a intake vent on the side.
Should I get a better inline fan from the local hydro store and run 4 inch hose from the intake vent on the Hood to somewhere out of the room to suck in cool air? Or do i need another exhaust fan for the room? The problem is i leave in a apartment, so i cant do to much modification. I used the hole that was already there for the closet light to vent out the hot air from the HPS. Once i figure this out i can start growing with my ebb and flow system using hydroton on a 4X4 tray. How is do you keep your closet cool? Hope to hear from you thanks.

If i cannot get any exhaust for the dark period, would a dehumidfier solve my problem?
