6000w LED Too Much for 8x8?

I'm looking to get an 8x8 tent and run 4 1500w LED's. I have a 2000w King LED from Amazon in a 4x4 tent and it worked great. I was wondering, would 6000w be overkill for an 8x8 tent? I might get the Bestiva or stick with the King LED's. If anyone can recommend different LED lights around the same price range that would be great too. Thanks in advance.

No those lights won't be too much. They can call it a 2000 watt light all day long but it isn't. It pulls 380 watts from the wall. It's nowhere near the light intensity of two 1000 watt HID's which would be too much to run in a 4 x 4. I'm not saying it won't grow weed but it is nowhere near the equivalent of 2000 actual watts.

You’d need 10 of those king LED to light a 8x8 proper.

Thanks. What do you think I should do to maximize yield with LED besides the other factors (grow medium, environment, genetics etc.)?

If you want to flower an 8x8 canopy, you'll need at least 2000 true watts and that is really on the low side. Good coverage is 50w/sq ft which is 3200 true watts for an 8x8 canopy. If you cut your canopy down to 6x6 you'll have room in your tent and you can hit 50w/sq ft with 6, 300 true watt LEDs.

Forsure I think I'm gonna get 4 2000w's to start then and upgrade after the first harvest.

That's still only 1500 true watts. Forget what they claim the light puts out and go by what it's pulling from the wall. See that's what bothers many of us about some of the LED manufacturers. They're calling those lights 2000 watts and they're not even close. A 600 watt HPS puts out more light. So does a 315 watt CMH. Both cost less than that King LED. I seriously suggest you go with better LED's or go HID.

Those are nonsense LED, ditch them and get something reliable, I got a 2nd hand Budmaster GOD LED on ebay for the price you would have payed for all those panels.
