600 watt for 4 plants is the 2 low for flowering

have 4 plants in my tent will 600 watt be ok for flowering or do i need 2 600 did not really won't 2 use 2 600 because of the heat .:idea:
 
1 will rock 4 plants! I mean you can always use another candle...but if you cant vent the heat... seriously though 1 600 will produce!!!
 
what he said @ 92,000 lumens keep lights around 8 - 10 inches from tops plants should be a decent grow i use tracklighting and my 1000 watters are 8" from tops

yea u will be good for 1 600, thats what i used for ahwile on 4-6 plants. now i got 2 600's and the only difference now is their density, and maybe a little bit more yeild.
 
thanks for all your help ,i was told to put 4 plants in a tent i have 13 in totall, my plants are 2 and half feet at the moment and around foot and half wide im not sure if i should flower now or let them go a little longer there only just over a month old im useing co2 and two 600 watt lights to veg . the temp in my room stops @ a nice 75 f /77f .if i flower them all together i have a 2x2x2 mtr tent im veging in if i add 1 more 600 light will i be ok for flower on all my plantsand get the best crop.

when you flip to flower plan on those girls at least doubling some may triple in size. Meaning your 2.5ft plant will be at least 5 ft at the end of the day.
 
Dude, agreed they may get tall! Have you lollypopped them yet? Lollypopping is basically cutting everything on 1/3 of the bottom of the plant as you wont get much useable bud at the bottom branches, some people advise to leave the fan leaves though. This will increase the yield at the top of the plant as the plant does waste energy on popcorn buds that aint worth it.

If you dont lollypop, maybe some cfl sidelights to get to the bottom of the plants? 1 x 600watt will cover the canopy but your gonna get a lot of lower buds not getting light..Next time to max yield, def look into LST from the get go, your branches are prob to thick to now to mess with now. Have you topped them?
 
Just keep in mind that no matter how good your reflector is the ones directly under the middle of the 600W will grow significantly faster than the other ones. Keep up with your topping.
 
yes i toped plants 2 weeks ago and i have 4 tops on each plant ,im going 2 trim bottoms tonight , im going to flower all my plants in my 2x2x2 mtr tent i have 3 x 600 watt in there now for flowering two are vented but one is not, im going 2 see how it gos on heat and if it gets 2 hot will remove the 600 light for another cooltube,i thought if i have the lights off in the day this will help keep the heat down when flowering being cooler at night.im also going to work out the room in the tent if i have to i might remove 2/3 plants because of the light geting 2 the plants ,do you think i can flower 13 plants in my tent.
 
I had 4 plants under 600, next grow I had 8 plants under same. yeild was exactly same (fluffy buds) . I then switched to 1000 watts , tight buds ,more weight, but had to upgrade ventilation.

it's the heat im thinking off useing 3 600 watt i can see the temp going right up ,i hope by flowering at night the heat will not be so bad
