First of all this site is great, im learning a lot here. This is my first post here, but I was a longtime member to overgrow. Ive done a few cfl and florescent tube grows in the past, but im going to be in a situation where i can branch out and go bigger. So this is my situation. I have about $600 to start with and would like to try a perpetual grow. The room is about 8'x8', although i obviously wont be able to go wall to wall with lighting on this budget. My thoughts are to get a 600w lumatek for a flower chamber, and then a T5 for veg, and use my existing cfls for a mother/clone chamber.
Ive always done soil in the past, but wouldn't be opposed to trying a hydro system based on the many superior results ive seen here. Then again i like to stick to what i know.
