60 day wonder - is it ready?

Def wait it out bro. I know it kills us all, but what do you think the growers that brought you that bomb kush did? Give it another 7-10 days. You'll thank us all in the end. Besides, you still have a good 4 weeks after you chop till you smoke n e ways. Patience

yeah its hard. just look at it this way you have put months into the plant. whats another 2 weeks. it will be so much better

Thats very true and I would not have wanted it any other way. Im going to give this girl another week and a half to swell up!
Going to buy jars this weekend for curing.
 
So next week friday I will chop her down! Thanks everybody for the advice...I will post up pics the day I cut her down and we will compare

get yourself a x60 micro scope , pluck off a leaf or two. prehaps a small nuggy, zoom in on the tricchromes... if the trichromes are cloudy its ready ! if the trichromes are clear, you can let it go a bit longer. i can't just tell u if its ready based on a picture, you have to look at the trichromes !!
 
i just finished a 60 day wonder, took 70 days and the trichomes on my plants dident turn amber atleast the pheno i got. i chopped mine and the trichomes were all cloudy and let me tell you its the bomb! i wouldent advise chopping any other plant this early but the 60 day wonder is such a serious strong indica that if you were to chop now you would get a good head buzz right b4 the indica kicks in and hits ur body. i would chop now if it was me but as i say only cause its a 60 day wonder!
 
You are close, a week or so I think. You got a good carpet of trichomes laid down on the near-trim leaves around the nugs. As
you are maxxed out on tri's you have only to wait until more than half the tri's have turned milky or colored. I use a 30X 'scope
and would check them daily if I were you.

Im going to go out this weekend and get that scope at radioshack when I go get my glass jars for curing.
If weather is nice and sunny this week maybe ill chop a bit sooner but as of now next friday is the date she gets chopped down!
 
Hey sweet looking buds, I'm about to order 12 seeds of the 60 day wonder and im just curious if the smoke is worth it. I've never heard of it before, I see it's an indica not exactly my favorite but it's an incredibly fast plant I see, I wouldn't mind taking care of this babies for 2 months while I have my hazes up and going as well. those are going to take me 11-12 weeks to flower and they are just germinating now. How much do you think i could yield from 12 of these under a 1000W hps?

I have never grown an autoflowering strain before but as far as smell and look it should be a really good smoke.
Really crystally and sticks my fingers together when I touch a bud, when I chop her down, dry and cure her I will get back to you on the smoke.
I grew mine outdoor and it looks to be about a nice ounce off each, might want to let it go later than 60 days as you can tell if you read this post.
 
From what i saw and read i want the trichs when they are still cloudy i'm more of the sativa type person myself but also like the indicas for a night time smoke. My nighty night weed

I am more of a indica guy although I smoke all day so when I have things to do I could use a nice sativa to keep me
lively and ready to go. Ill def let you know whats up with this bud when I smoke it so you can have a better idea at what your looking forward to.
 
Thanks man i appreciate it, i smoke all day myself as well. And round here is nothing but indica as far as regos go, not even real good indica just some shit to help take the edge off that's bout it. I'm def looking forward to it can't wait for your smoke report again thx
 
Now im new at growing so my info could be wrong, but also remember after you hang and dry your buds, the longer you let them cure the better your smoke will be and smoother. I know people who lets there buds cure for a month of two and say they get amazing bud.
