thanks.. i am running the 250w panel at 100w..and just a circ fan in the room cools them well
i have sourced heat sinks to try them passive at 250w to check out temperature..i make 320 w dual panel 44" rigs with ac muffin fans..i like the air movement..
i am thinking of getting an 8" x 8" panel made ..
running such a large panel allows for good coverage and being able to go close to the plants

just turfed the skinny ag because the nanners were gonna be a problem and the early sample was good but not good enough
[didn't swallow my tongue]
i coulda used it for something but i justrammed it in the trash bin..
as my friend says:
"cull with extreme prejudice"

i will be testing the sample heat sinks on the 250 w pcb at 250 w to see if the heatsink work at full tilt..then three @200 w each
...my new 600w secret 6 panels SL flipped.jpg sl flipped 6 panels.jpg [jk] drivers are on the way
but i gotta say running 6 x 250w panels @ 100w each only needs a bit of air on it to stay really cool and really covers a 4 x 4
or 5 x 5 area well..also i can get really close..

even if the heatsinks work well i just dunno ..after growing with these things the 6 x 6" x 22" panels per frame seem dang good..

got some other inflower here is a newly flipped LCATHG sativa [last chance at the holy grail ]

very thick stalks massively dense branching right from the start

I like your 250watt pcb "bar" build the best, it's a lot like my lights in it's design (long light). Your lights get incredible spread of light I bet! I like the single bar* builds because if you need to adjust, and adjusting is common, then it's not the whole light that has to move... You can really be versatile with the 250watt builds imo rather than the 600watt builds.

=D

But I'm with you on these PCB builds are performing at surprising levels of amazing. I thought i'd simply have an easier build, but the spread of light clearly gets more light to the plan further down than HPS easily, and better than CoBs (less easily).

At 1k watts I feel the lm561c are around 2k watts of DE HPS. To me there is no more "leds are just not there yet," reality is LEDs are almost 2x better than HPS. If I had 2k led watts to do a side by side with 2k watts of HPS lights I'd grow 2x as much because I'd need a whole other 4x8 haha.

so far multi panels at low wattages are working extremely well

it would seem like strips should do the best job

..i can only rely on real world tests that i can monitor

i have not done a/b flowering strips vs panels in a serious test yet...

here are LCAHG [last chance at holy grail ]mex..in flower..closer this run..even canopy

update:i like these panel they work well..my plants have never been happier but

that said:

i have switched to another factory who will give me what i thinki need to improve on this
as well as help designing a smaller pcb

will be making the 560 led 6" x 22" spit into two separate channels of 280 for fresh current

from the driver

i still like the 6 x 22 best

the first new panel i get made will be the smaller one...
i have a new custom heatsink
and affordable efficient custom drivers sourced and tested
and gear right down to the ratchet hangers

stay tuned..

as you may see i am a grower first and have to believe in what i get made...these work well..i hope to up thatcanopy 6 panels flower start.jpg
