6" Magnum XXL question

HI Hey, I will be using a 600W HPS over a 4x4 scrog and need to know how high the lights should be over the screen with a Magnum 6 incher? I've read 18-24 inches generally, but am not sure this is for an air cooled reflector. My tent is 5x5x7. I'm using a Sunleaves wind tunnel 430CFM fan and Phresh filter. This will be the only fan, apart from circulating fans, and the tent intake is passive via a piece of 7 inch ducting.
Intake temps are 76 degrees F max.

Any thoughts on how far the light can be from the plants?? I'm doing flood and drain
and my 50 gallon res is under the tray. This limits the amount of height I can raise the light unless I put the res outside the tent which would be space taking..and only give me 4-5 inches more adjustment.

i start off at 24 inches with seedlings then 18 even 12 if its cool enough when its more mature

I am going to bud all my seeds (6 Jack flash #5) and see how they grow, bolt, BUD or/and whatever. I have made clones of all (for possible mother plants). I will see which ones are the best overall from the total life cycle of these seed plants.

If my plants bud more than a foot over the screen I might be in trouble.

i dont have a cool tube,i have an ac runnin when my lights on

hi, i am running 2x magnum xxxl's with a 8" pulling air through them,
my light is max 10" abve the girls and my fan is turned on by barely a qaurter on the dimmer.
my temps are averaging at 74f and min of 67f,
i also run another airloop consisting of a 8" rhino with a 8" rvk L1 attached plugged into a smscom fan controller set to 25c,
my only air intake is a 6" rvk A1 blowing in, but them 2 are barely ever on due to low temps
btw my magnum are also the 6" so i use reducers on the fan to bring it to 8".

Good news on the distance of 10 inches. Hope my 600W can cover the 4x4 screen. Thanks
