Hi guys . im new here in LED lights
previously i had grown outdoors ,but now im planning for indoor
i made a DIY light using these parts
CXB3590 ×5
HlG-240H-C1400b ×1 (220 VAC)
but the issue is the driver is getting little bit hot
i can touch it, feels somewhere warm to hot (dont have a correct measure)
ambient temperatures is around 27 c to 31c here..
IS it normal thing for such driver ?

PLEASE HELP
anybody ?

Yeah, man.... It's converting AC to DC current. They most DEFINITELY DO get warm, damn near hot. All is well.

do i need any fan around the driver to actively cool to keep it in safe temp zone ?
ambient temp is near 30 C/ 86F here.

Yea they get warm.
You'll love the light. I just retired the same sort of light last week. 18" x 18" fixture with centre cob.
I grew some smashing buds with it. I eventually changed the driver to the 185 and moved it to a 32 x 32 tent and run it at 40 watts per cob.
I'll eventually rehash the cxbs and make an uber efficient veg light.

My driver just sat on top of the fixture in the room but I need the extra heat.
I ran my cobs bare, no reflectors. You can get the fixture closer to plants with less wall losses.
What area are you using it in?

im gona start next month ..
currently seeds are in transit . customs delay right now
I hope, soon those are gona released. lets see
how indian lazy customs are gona treat them.
just 5 of them in a letter type article
baught from Attitude UK..
