I'm too embarrassed to post another pic of mine because of her freakish growth rate,I'm looking for ideas from you guys on how to stunt her growth a bit or maybe I'm just real stoned now.

You've waited for it and now here it is, The 5th Official Party Cup Grow Competition Ladies and Gentlemen start your seeds!
If you posted on the 5th Official Party Cup Registrarion Thread, you successfully registered for the competition! If you did not register we are sorry but you are not qualified to participate in this Competiton, NO worries there will be more in the coming months, for now you can watch us in this thread:

Here is the basic outline of the comp. For those involved with the last competition it is very similar.

  • 1st post or germination post must contain the following: strain name, nutrients used, light source used, media used and germination date (day of sprout)
  • Germ date and strain name must be written on the cup by first post.
  • Party cups (16oz) only, no other sizes permitted or transplanting from other sizes once germied, no paper or fabric
  • Roots must be confined inside the cup any roots outside the cup is automatic DQ
  • Any Indoor light source allowed- no changing light sources once started (with the exception of a burnt out bulb). No Sunlight
  • Participants and sponsors may vote on winner(s)
  • Prizes are Available from these sponsors : Indagro, Root Pouch, Area51, Midweeksong, and Green Gator Filters
  • Start from seed only. No Clones
  • 12/12, 11/13, 13/11, the entire time = No Veg time
  • Start a maximum of 5 seeds total, keep only 1 female plant for entry once sex has shown.
  • Germination window begins 8-1 and ends 9-1. No exceptions
  • weekly updates mandatory with picture or you're DQ
Hydro, dwc, automated watering, soma style and any other non-standard, non-dirt type growers:
All the above methods are fine as long as your roots do not grow outside the confines of your cup. Trim your roots from growing out side the cup or be DQ (you may be subject for a picture in between weekly updates to confirm there are no roots growing outside the cup)

Holy fuck how did I miss an event like this?! I WANT IN ON THE NEXT ONE!!!! no so much because I stand a chance of winning, but I figured what the hell, you pro's need a scape goat.. Someone to gracefully take last place, and still talk shit, respectfully of course.. I searched for "party cup grow registration" and came up with nothing... If someone could kindly point me in the right direction, of just give me a heads up for next round that would be awesome.

LONG LIVE RIU!
BEST FORUM EVER!! >_<

Its a trick captain! ^^^^^ This chump is trying to get you kicked out of the comp... ;)

Bahahahaha I didn't even think of that. More blue during flower will reduce stretch though. May cause yield to suffer and flowering time to take longer as well.

it could be the pheno too. I have a plushberry and a 9 lb hammer after two months only 15 inches tall. Then three other 9lb hammers that are same age. More than twice the size.

one of me Fudo mayo x 9lb is a male. Dropped balls pretty quick. I set it next my mojos og outside. So that cross can possibly be what I use in the comp after the next comp since I'm going to win this one .wont be able to compete in the next comp. Now that I thought about it. 12/12 from seed plants usually show sex in 3-5 weeks. Males almost always show sex earlier than females. Mine are about 3 weeks old. So should be a good male selection. Showing sex isn't that early considering...

I've missed 1.5 weeks of updating so I hate to say it but I'm DQ'd. XD

Been too busy, but its probably for the best. The cups are sharing a room with my 1st hydro set up and they are not getting much light lol. So good news and bad I suppose

Hahaha...yeah i kind of knew that before i started... :)

Im unsure what to actually do with it.....maybe just a pinch of the main stem will do... (supercrop)
I already cut off the first and second node and am considering leaving the third and forth then topping.
