Sup guys im 5J,

Im relatively new to growing also.
This is my 2nd grow and at this point, 4 1/2 weeks into Veg.
My previous grow was in the same space with Blue cheese cuttings done in the same system exactly but with 1 x 600W, 7 Blue cheese vegged 30 days yielded me around 13 ounces.

Not a bad starter but as all, im looking to improve.

This time round i added a Scrog net, in this case 2 x "garden" nets i purchased at the local House + garden store which fitted perfectly for my space, they measured i think 0.9m x 0.6m.

  • They are 50mm or 2" Squares.

Week 4 Pics will follow at the bottom after the intro

They are currently around 33ish days into veg and are really bushy as you will see, i topped them
around 6ish days after they were root bound of the 3" rockwool Cubes.

These are 1st generation from seed, i havnt yet taken any cuttings but they are Feminised Seed.

Quick Break Down:

Strains: (Super Lemon Haze 750 m2+ Big Bang 700 m2) - Greenhouse

Method: Hydro - DWC

Setup: 5 gal (20l) Bubbler buckets Recirculating with 1000l p/h maxi jet.

Lighting: 2 x 600W Lumatek + Hacienda Digital - Osram

Ventilation: 1x 750 m3 extraction fan + 8" filter attatched
No intake
Bionair 8" 3 speed Osc fan + 5" desk fan for circulation.
(i know this is abit low for 2 un air cooled lights my temps around 28-30C)

Room size: 1.2m x 1.2m usable (extra 40cm or so width but higher up,see pics

As This is my 1st Scrog grow im new to the whole timing the switch to 12/12.

If you look at the pics They got insanely bushy because of how early i topped them.

When they where young i was LST'ing the shit out of them i had every main branch tied down to get those mid branches up.

About 3-4 days ago i untied them when i put in the screen. (i know abit late :P)

The screen is placed around 7-8" away from the tops of the 5gal buckets and only today the plants started to touch the screens, and i think by another 2-3 days it will be about 50-60% full judging on how bushy these plants are.

They are Both Sativa Dom so will be 10+ week flowerers and ive heard SLH stretches like 3x its size in the 2 weeks.

Anyways Toke it up!

Here are some pics of my room, more will follow
Stay tuned.

i prolly didnt mention this, but my temps can sometimes climb into the 30's even in winter.
The temps inside the room are based on how much i open the window in the room that the Closet is located.

But as i sleep in here and its about -5 C outside it can get pretty cold in here.

During the time i go out or sleep i just open the window a little more and the temp goes down to about as low as 24 deg C, which isnt bad considering i have 2x 600's and no intake or A/C.

Anyways the point to all this is that i got my intake fan today, the TT100 4" inline.
Was only cheap from ebay around 40-50$.

Im going to have the inline mounted on the wall sucking air right behind my Osc fan so that the air gets blown around the whole room and evenly distributed.

I will post some pics once its all nicely setup.

Anyone know how i can wire this damn thing?
i know what to connect but what kind of cable should i use?

I know with these low power (25watt) inlines they dont require earth but what kind of cable can i use?
i dont want to have to buy some.
can i just use one i snipped off a lamp for example?

Im guessing they are close to the flowering cycle now,

i dont know how much more full i will have to get them before they are going to fill the whole screen in the stretch as the Big bang stretches to around double its size whereas the SLH stretches close to tripple.

Switching to Lucas formula when i flower standard (0/8/16ml) per gal which i believe is 1347 ppm @0.7 conversion.

Here are some photos,
feel free to ask questions :p
