i have 6 26w 5700k cfl bulbs, i will have these on 2 clones, what i wanna know is what kind of bud would i get if i just used these bulbs right through flowering? now keep in mind im not looking for stuff to sell i just want bud i can get stoned to in my living room and if i have to smoke a whole joint to myself before i get high then im fine.

also will these bulbs be sufficient for when they plants get a little bigger?

well the 5700k light temp is the only prob i see for your flowering period, usually for vegging you would use that kind of light but when you are flowering youll want to get some 2700 k light temp lights. this is also usually listen on the box. so when they get large enough to flower i would switch to 6 100w equivalent 2700 k lights, available at lowes hardware store. these are not too expensive but they will definateley improve the quality of your bud alot because itll be growing under proper lighting.

haha, what do you mean scrog? ive never heard anyone use that word, maybe because im canadian haha
SCROG = SCreen Of Green. A barrier of chicken wire (usually) is placed over the plants so that only the bud shoots grow through. This keeps the height restricted as the plant can only grow horizontal. Not my cup of tea as your plants are welded to the screen and can't be moved for inspection or treating for mites etc.
Oh, and to answer your original question yes, but adding some 2700 K bulbs will encourage more flowering but not increase the quality.

do you mean the temperature from the bulbs? or bulb temp as in the kind of light it is?

because in that case, it is colder upstairs and i was planning on having a heater in there because during the winter the upper part of my house is not heated. and i have no reason to go up there so its cold.
then i could just take the heater out making it colder in there or turn it down

well, each bud site shoots out from a leave axial just like a branch when flowering begins. When SCROG training you just push the plant stem back under the screen if it pops through. The bud shoots you leave alone or if they get snagged under you ease them out. A thing of beauty when done right.

have ou grown a plant before, when it is young itll have the one shoot, then there are nodes, these are where the leaves grow outward, at each node a stem will begin to grow just above the leaf, these are the shoots that he is refering to. at the base of these stems is where the buds form. oh and the temp i was refering to was the light temp not the room temp, the room temp should be held at about 72-78 degrees F. so if your upper room is cold the heater would be useful to keep the temp up.

so each bud shoot then has a stem that goes all the way up? it is its own branch of bud? and leaves grow out of it too? because taht is the mental im getting i just need to confirm that its right haha
