Hi, I use 55w 2G11 CFL lights which start from a digital ballast. I've also got some 40w 2G11 CFLs with ballasts that I'll build in to my light between crops.
They are the same fitting (2G11) which is a 4 pin push on, I've found when buying my last lot of bulbs that you can get 80w lights in the same fitting - will these work on my 55w ballasts??
I've found that the 40w ballasts will start and power a 55w bulb with no apparent loss of brightness, so this could be possible?
Please let me know if anyone else has tried this and it works.
