Yeaa cloning is pretty easy here, Im always reading bout ppl stressin bout clones, dunno what they do wrong! Lol jst cut 37 myself, goin to try some outdoor this yr, ive only grown 1 outdoor in 6yrs, lol we ll see, u have any recommedations on photoperiod acclimation, I cant put them out n bring in, once they go out, their out! I got the clones on 6am to 9pm, their mom goes from 6pm to 12pm, hoping they want flower when I put em out. u have a fav outdoor nute? Doesnt look like u need advice, lookin forward to ur sunday update, rock on!

Yea most of the time I don't even have to use a humidity dome on clones since its already humid enough in my vegging spot. Man the way I do outdoor crops is if you are wanting them to flower right when you plant then grow them veg inside under 24 hours of light. But if you want the plants not to flower right off the bat when you put them outside in the summer, then grow them starting out at 16hours on for first week of sprout, then go to about 14 and a half. Usually if you grow them under 14 hours they aren't gonna throw on flowers. My favorite nutes are Advanced Nutrients just because they have so many lines dedicated to growing purely cannabis...plus they have organic products. Heck yea this Sunday's update is gonna feature some new plants in the Flowering tent ;) and some new additions to the Motherkeeper as well actually.... haha.

Appreciate the advice! Ive never had the pleasure of using advance nutes, but it looks like their very on point for cannabis. I try to k.i.s.s, did u say og18 moving to flower yeaaaa, been wanting that for yrs hope its dankk!

This update is in two sections.

Mother Keeper: Pandora's Box is a flourishing bush that is now 30 days old. Gonna let her veg until I chop 3D in my flowering tent (about 5 more days). Planted 2 new seeds: Green-o-Matic (sprouted 4/16) and Greenhouse AMS (not yet sprouted). The Flav, Cataract Kush, and Buddha Tahoe OG are all vegging nicely. I have heard that both The Flav and Buddha Tahoe OG like to stretch a bit once induced to flower, so they will be getting about 15 more days of vegging time then will be moved to flowering. I plan on vegging Cataract Kush for a good 30 days.

Flowering Tent: The big 4 are on day 49 of flowering and all are looking great. I started leeching 3D with tons of pure water and plan on chopping it April 19. It has about 5% clear, 15% amber, and 80% cloudy trichomes. Based on looking at the other 3 plants' trichomes under my microscope my harvest schedule is looking like:

26th- El Nino
29th- Big Bang and Vortex

As for the other plants, All 4 Green-O-Matic have flowers forming. On 3 of them, I have been training them to spread their branches out for maximum lighting. One Green-o-matic in a 2 gallon pot seems to be a nice 1 cola plant so i am letting it just grow tall without any pruning. OG #18 has also been trained and has had some large top fan leaves removed to let more light penetrate to the bottom. I don't seem to be finding any pre-flowers yet on OG but only quickly glanced.

Day 49 Flowering
1557.jpg-Vortex; 1564-3D; 1577-El Nino; 1582-Big Bang; 1603-OG#18; All others Green-o-Matic in Flowering Tent

Look at all them buds!!!! lol ur doin an awesome job! albeit stayin busy! Do u ever use molasses? Not that u need it, just curious if u feed the micros

Man I can never find any blackstrap molasses!!!! it really makes me mad that i live in such a crappy city. I am gonna have to order some off of the internet i guess. Guess the best thing i have is bud candy from advanced nutrients but thanks for reminding me about molasses....im really gonna have to locate some. But yes i do feed micronutrients in the form of kelp meal and all of the stuff that subcool has in his supersoil recipe.

And finally, yes I must say its a fairly demanding job sometimes to run all of this. Takes about 30 minutes a night on non-watering nights to just inspect and rotate pots in both tents. But nights that I do water (usually every other day), I stick around and keep the tents open for a few hours to let them air out some extra humidity. And while I do that, I make sure there are no dead or completely yellow leaves on any parts. Plus, I like to rotate the smaller plants. I can't rotate 3D or Vortex because of their long ass branches, but every other plant gets rotated 90degrees every night and it really makes a difference if you want some big ass, uniform looking buds! I usually spend anywhere from 15-20 hours a week I would say. But harvest is a different story. I'm definitely not the fastest trimmer, so i take about 35-45 minutes per ounce harvested. Then add in time spent making soil and yep its a pretty demanding job now that i think about it LOL glad harvest is coming up!!

lol trimming! It is tedious hard work, I try to do it in 2 stages, when I cut the plant I ll strip all the fans, let it hang a cpl days then come back for the sugar leafs. I made butter last time, pressed kief most the time, the butter buzz was ok, but the lingering taste I jst dont like, lol did u buy ur kelp meal local or did u have to order it, I had a lil bottle of technaflora s red thrive alive that I used to start seedlings and it made the cotyledens huge, then the first cpl leaves too, but the rest normalized once reg feedings started bout 3rd wk mark, anyway kelp is good chit!! Im enjoyin ur grow as much as any of my own!!

Yea, I ordered it online think it was off htgsupply or amazon. I usually don't feed my seedlings for the first 1.5-2 weeks of life, but I started feeding the Green-o-Matics like day 4 or 5 just because I wanted them to grow fast. I don't feed the other plants because I want them to have to seek out nutrients and develop huge root systems. That's also why I plant my big plants in 5 gallon instead of 2 gallon. And I am kinda thinking about trying out 7 gallon pretty soon, because after 4 months including vegging and flowering the big plants are root bound once i dump the old soil out.....huge root systems I tell ya.

But anyway, enough rambling....I'm out to harvest 3D right when I log off here. I might tease with a few pictures before the usual Sunday update. We'll see. I got a real big harvest coming next Thursday....plan on doing both Vortex and El Nino, but we will see how it plays out.

Here are some nug shots of 3D. So sticky I decided to wear gloves during the trimming. I estimate around 3-3.5 ounces but no way to tell til its dry...not bad for 53 days. :)

Can't really get any "good" pictures just because of how confined of a space it is located in, but here you go.... Best picture i can refer you to is off of htgsupply.com Wish i could get a better picture of it set up but the closet it is in is only about 3 inches bigger than the actual tent lol only thing you gonna see in the picture is the top and front of it because the closet door is only about 1/2 as wide as the tent, lol. It was hell getting it in there believe me.

This actually was a clone of a 3D i did a couple months ago and i was REALLY surprised she did so well. When i cloned her, she didn't do so well for the first 2 weeks when she was throwing roots on. But eventually she picked up and you see how well she did :) I didn't clone her again this time just due to the fact that I want to try a few more genetics before i start finding the ones i really want to keep. And although i know for a fact this is gonna be some REALLY good smoke, I am looking for keeper mother plants that provide me a bit more bud than 3D even though her flowering is about a week shorter than most. I kinda like how the Vortex is looking ;) She might be one of the ones i buy a 5 pack of seeds for to find a mother once i settle down on popping seeds and doing clones instead. But really if you want to know the truth, I am probably gonna end up trying to find some short bushy Indica's like El Nino or Big Bang to fill my grow room up with since they don't take up much space (they literally take up only 3 inches more space than a normal 5 gallon bucket) so you can really pack a lot of plants in a tent. Plus, both el nino and big bang are producing HUGE amounts of bud.

Hope everybody's 420 was great!!!!! I actually fast dried 2 grams of 3D the 18th on top of my one non-air cooled light and by yesterday morning (4/20) it was smokable. Pretty good smoke too and i love the taste! Should be ready for the real smoke test by next Wednesday or Thursday.

Sounds like a plan, its hard to find a keeper w all the right traits. I got 21 out of 37 rooted n transplanted in 9 days, its weird that sum of the uglier clones rooted faster than the bigger healthy ones, all where done the exact same way. Anyhow, hows the autoflowers coming along?
