Subbed, + Like + Rep, those plants are doing amazing in those little cups but I think its about time they get bigger homes don't you think, lol. Really though, they will get root bound if you leave them in those cups too long. From what Ive heard you get better results when you through in at least one 6500K (blue) bulb, that's what I heard anyway. I actually built a CFL fixture using two of the same double bulb sockets your using for your big CFL's, they were the only double bulb sockets I could find at Ace and they came in a package with round white metal mounting fixtures which were completely useless to me, they were $6.99 each, am I describing the same fixtures your using? I attached some pics of my fixture with 3 x 65 Watt (5000K 4300 lumens) bulbs (they didn't have any 6500K) and 1 x 68 Watt (2700K 4200 lumens) bulb, total= 260 Watts in a 2' x 1' fixture, not bad for veggin.
Well it looks like your off to a great start, good luck to ya but I don't think you need it, lol.

i need some of that shit
I watched a stupid movie called bong of the dead. this dude took a seed and put it in soil and watered it with some zombie brain and the plant grew, budded, dryed, and cured all within 5 seconds!!! he picked it off and smoked it!!

that would be a sweet deal!!!

well, molasses is to fatten up th ebuds and give your soil a good balance of micro nutes and organizims to help plant growth.. .but from what i hear now... you should only use it during the last few weeks (2 or 3 ) of your grow.

i give them a little bit of water twice a day now.. once inthe morning and once at night .....
3 of them have started producing frost ..... they popped above the dirt on 10/11 (almost all of them) ... not to sure i have to go onthem ... prolly a while yet.

Wow, those are looking really nice! I'd say based on "pop" date, you have at least 3 weeks, maybe 4 left, but it's gonna be worth the wait. Don't worry about the leaves yellowing a little at this stage. They will begin to yellow, starting from the bottom first, as the buds start to use up the nitrogen in the fan leaves.

No matter what anybody tells you, DON'T TRIM YOUR FAN LEAVES. Leave them all on there until they turn yellow. Once they have died off, you can pick them off, but the plant will begin to slowly suck them all dry of nutrients. This is what the fan leaves have been gathering sunlight for all along. Don't chop them now.

Good job on the grow. I'm sure you'll have some nice primo smoke in just a little while longer.

Thanks everyone for posting and following along ! I'm glad i have a small base of growers and well... not to get to mushy (brothers) (I love you guys !) that follow my journals and give extremely helpful incite and tips ! It's been a little crazy here lately, but when i do get to log in to RIU ... its the best part of my day.... This time of year i start to get a little reclused and depressed, and not only do ya get good advice on growing here with the RIU crew.. you can blow off some steam to sympathetic ears .

Thanks guys for being here for the past year and some change with me ... our common thread is gardening... a specific plant... nurturing and raising crop after crop of beautiful life and fruits... we all get to experience each others own little worlds together threw this common bond.... Its a wonderful thing ! Growing is a great way to come together and make some dank ass bud for the world to share ; )

Once again everyone, thanks for being there !!!
Heres to many a more dank ass plants with lots o frost ... ... ... who says it can't be christmas every day in my world ... he he he.

Keep em green and strong guys !

Try to get some sand and cover the soil top completely and steal your wife pantyhose so you can wrap the cups up so bugs can't get inside your holes. Fungus gnats will reproduce in your soil. Those are some recommendations. Keep fighting off the gnats. Your ladies are looking foxy bro. Good shit. Remebered stress is not good for you or anyone. When I get stressed or depressed I do some physical activities to blow off some steam and then after that I blaze....never keep it inside you always have us to talk to.

Keep rocking that grow bro....there is going to be a coffee can contest you might want to enter.

Peace

WOW, they look pretty dam good for being in 16oz (?) cups, however wouldn't they have done much better in larger pots, I mean I thought that's how plants become root-bound? Forgive my bewilderment Ive just never seen anyone flower in cups before, lol, is this a common thing?

Its an experiment! Sure you can get more in a bigger pot, but the challenge here is to see how much he can get out of a cup. It actually takes more skill to grow in a small container than a big one.

Part of what makes weed so damn much fun to grow (aside from the fact that the end DEFINITELY justifies the means), is the fact that it is so "flexible" as a plant. We grow it every way under the sun...in cups, in huge pots, indoors, outdoors, in water, in air, in soil, in coco, in clay, vegged forever or forced to flower from seed.

The best part is, no matter what you do, if you love and care for the plant and tend to its basic needs, the rest is limited only by your patience and creativity. I love to see what other people attempt. This dude is gonna end up with some dank smoke that he grew himself. Maybe it won't be the absolute maximum quantity it could have been, but it's awesome none the less.

Exactly !!! Couldn't have put it better my self !!!

I find cups a challenge... it's a constant struggle some times to get these girls not to yellow.... the balance is constantly changing and nutes are constantly having to be slowly introduced.
