5 Weeks from seed, Leaf problems..

how long you been vegging? If you're using soil that has nutrient content it can take a month for your plant to use up what's already there. I use some MG organic but that stuff is super thick. I mix it down 50% or better with perlite. Just make sure its draining properly. Less is more when it comes to anything in a bottle and indoor gardening.
they've been vegging for 5 weeks nd 4 days now I'm using 50% MG potting mix and 50% Earth Gro potting soil. Didn't have any perlite so just made do. The MG seems to drain well with earth gro, My opinion.

I ended up flushing the soil, then altogether re potting em. There doing alot better and I foliage feed em with garden lime cause i think the nitro burn gave me a calcium def.

If possible, I'd like to see pictures. Also, how close are your lights?

Foliar feeding can be bad because you want your plants to feed from the roots, also it can invite mold and sun/light burning. It's not all bad, I bet you can recover. Raise your lights. If you put your hand under the light at plant level, you don't want it to be very hot. Do you have any ventilation? Also MG soil is too hot for mj, unless your really really really careful. I would not feed and flush flush flush with 6ph water no nutes. There are also solutions that release salt buildups better than strait ph'd water, like florakleen.

Good luck and JJJJJJJAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

Thanks I'm glad my efforts aren't futile lol. Yeah I have house hold fan ventilation lol, And I'm going to grab some florakleen as soon as I can, Is it expensive?

I've got like a 2 gallon container of florakleen. I personally wouldn't waste money on any salt flushing agents, but for your situation I'd probably get some Fox Farm Sledgehammer. It's a little cheaper and can go a long way. Seriously, use ph'd water and a couple drops of liquid dish soap per gallon and it will do the same job. As newer growers we have the tendency to over fertilize our plants...MG has alot of nute content like BudForever 442200 mentioned, if you want to foliar feed then you have to wait for the nutrients to break down in the soil first.

Ok, I'll use the ph'd water with soap, but I also wanted to have a flushing agent in case. When flushing should I wait till my water schedule says so or just do it?

Read the guide in my sig for how to grow with nuted soil. You were way over feeding, label says 7-14 days. Also it sounded like you had a ph problem. There's nothing wrong with MG soil, just people not reading instructions on the box basically. Same thing happens with FFOF and any other pre-nuted soil. If you feed double and triple amounts you're gonna get burnt. Hydro stores won't tell you that, and if you know what you are doing MG works just fine.

6 is way too low for soil. 6.5 is optimal 6.5-7 is what you want. Under that you get potassium and MG lockout.

Hey thanks, yeah I checked the ph of the water I was giving it, It was way too high so I addressed that problem. And yeah being a new grower I had an urge to nute it..alot. But I'm over it and going to exhibit some self control, 7- 14 days it is. Thanks again.

I dont flush in last two weeks and deprive my plant of vital nutrients in the last weeks of flowering like most growers. I flush only when there is a need to, which is your case. If you keep the salts from building up by using flushing agents (water is fine) throughout the entire grow there is no need. Do you guys flush tomatoes or anything else you grow wherever you're at? Pot is no different. You can or you cant, but the goal is not to allow the salts to build up and lockout the available nutrients. Good luck bro and happy growing.

Yeah I get what your saying and I'll determine whether or not to flush it after a few to see if watering with ph'd water and killing the nute overload has helped.

1st day of flowering, I flushed them because the nute burn wasn't looking any better. And one of them is showing little white hairs.
