@mark davies Nice, they're looking good. You doing a closet grow or a tent. It kinds reminds me of my old house, moved in and there was a decomissioned grow closet which looked similar to yours.

@TheLemon Good idea, I'll cover it and collect the pollen. The third lady is scrawny and leaves are turning brown and it's a bagseed so I'm gonna put her down. I have two other bushy bagseed ladies indoors so it's cool.
Not too sure on this but do u freeze pollen to save it for later? I love bagseed success stories lol. Good luck with your grows and your future MJ seed babies :D

It's basically a built in airing cupboard took out the shelves lol.
I can't imagine the smell at end of harvest and drying as it's smelling when I open it already lol. Need to install a carbon filter to the ceiling exhausting it out in the attic vent. Will that work?

@mark davies My carbon filter is literally blowing back into the room where the tent is situatated and I cannot smell a thing until the tent is open so I wouldnt worry. Deffo get a filter tho mate, I got mine from a hydro shop near me for £30 to last a year, maybe longer. Can't wait to let the smell develop tho, once thos calyxes fatten up they will smell like crazy. How many days in flower are you im on day 19. Hoping my stretch has finished lol.

Yes will be getting a carbon filter next week sometime, I live in a first floor flat so I'm hoping people down stairs won't smell. I'm 6 days into flowering, I would like my to stretch a little. When will they stop stretching and how much height has yours gained so far in flowering?

@Joe Blows Trees That thread's interesting, few people saying mix with flour lol. Guessing you have plenty of time before then though, although your male balls look ready to pop any day now. Was thinking, get zip lock bags and maybe some tape for doube protection. If you saved all the pollen from 1 male i think it would last for years. Could maybe make some interesting crosses too. Do you know what strain the man is?

@mark davies I've heard double/triple size, but so far mine have grown about 5 inches since flower, obviously not done yet, but i would like it to be, simply cannot have the big girl stretching any more or i will have to raise my little one up by another 5 gal pot and have the light raised to the roof lol.

So far so good smell wise, if you have the ability to vent to your loft then do that for sure, but I wasn't able to, like I say though, so far the filters doing its job, just dunno how good itll be once things start kicking off properly frosty flower wise. Smell goes up though so those downstairs wont smell a thing, i hope :)

I was under the impression that the stretch only occurred during the first 2 weeks of flower.

Well I hope they don't lol,
Yeh I heard it's the first 2 weeks, do u think when I change my light to 250w hps next week they should shoot up?

@TheLemon The male was in the bagseeds too so I'm not sure. Guessing by the leaf structure I'd say it's indica.

@markdavies I'm 15 days into flowering and my ladies are still going. I'm thinking by this time next week they'll pretty much be done stretching. I'm growing 3 sativa dominant strains though so I'm carefully watching them. The other 2 strains are indica so I'm not to worried about them.

@mark davies got my fingers cross for ya mate lol. Thing im worried about more than anything is certain people finding out and stealing my stash which happens frequently around here.
I do think so, it's clear to me that HPS is 50 times better, have a look at some youtube grows, CFL vs HPS, now CFL does work but it seems HPS gets you much fatter buds.
And im sure mine arent done with stretch even tho im on day 19 flower.

@Joe Blows Trees I thought so too based on pics, it's fat wide leaf for indica and thin spikey for sativa right?
Have you done many grows before, like do you have an average stretching time among your grows? Also seems to me that the double/triple size might be a bit of an over estimate.

@TheLemon I've helped my family in the garden for many years and I also helped with a grow op a few times, but I was contributing more to the growing expenses and wasn't really hands on with the ladies. With the experience of participating in the growing op, combined with my knowledge of growing vegetables, I consider myself an intermediate grower and I'm mid way through my first solo grow. I've had some of the same hiccups I see people post here through out this run and I'm just patiently learning and focusing on each strain so I can have better results next run. As for the stretch, I believe it varies depending on strain, how long it was vegged, the plants health at the time of flipping, ect. I'm entering week 3 and my haze ladies have stretched about 1' to 1' 5" and appear to be in no hurry to stop. I vegged my ladies for 53 days and they're in 5 gallon pots and the heights at flip time ranged from 11"-1' 2".

Well at least you have some experience, I read and watched youtube grows lol, im very good at seedling stage :P
My big one was vegged way to long trying to wait for little one to catch up without LST, so thats why mines so big, but I think mine have finally stopped stretch, you're on day 17 flower right? Are your indoor girls bag seed too?

Hello guys update,
My babies have grown 3 inches is 4 days already woop haha
Will try and get some pictures uploaded
How's yours going @TheLemon ?
Hi dude, its going very good, got some lovely frost forming on the white widdow and it smells fkin amazing, good news on the stretch, it's awesome when they grow that quick isn't it, did you top your girls and have u got any hairs yet? Think my stretch has finally stopped I hope, probs need to lift the little one up a bit tho. Light penetration seems quite good for my CFL, starting to think people just bash them for the sake of it.

@TheLemon yes and due to the weather, I now have 4 bagseed ladies along with my other 5 strains indoors. It's kinda crowded but beautiful. I think I have a week or so more stretch to go.

@markdavies I'm gonna top a lady 3 times next round. I wanna grow bushes!

Yh they are coming along a bit now u can see the tops stretching,
I should have vegged another 3 weeks for more yield but it's my first one and I know flowering has complications sometimes. Like one of my plant is so thin as in the branches are not long so they are all the way up and the other one is getting a little bushy lol. I'm gave them all the same, guessing plants grow alot different.

@Joe Blows Trees Nice, so you're expecting a decent yield from all those plants then, any more difficult managing the extra few plants? Also got some pics of your females ha.

@mark davies I wish I'd topped mine more than once so i could go mega bushy, looks like my plant has 2 big arms :/
I was told to veg mine an extra 2 weeks but if I had my big girl would be touching the ceiling. Have a good stretch and a happy flower :)

@TheLemon I was shooting for 2 zips a lady but I think I'll get a little more thanks to pot size, veg time, and training. Ensuring everyone is getting good lighting and not being shaded is a challenge but other than that, it's not to bad. I'm really hoping that one bagseed in particular doesn't hermie on me. She's so big and beautiful, but she has been through some trauma during veg so fingers crossed. She's my mistress this run! Haha.

@markdavies I don't wanna high jack your thread so if you say it's cool, I'll post a pic of the bagseed lady who I call my mistress! Haha.
