5 week cycle

Greetings! My first post on here, I've referred to RIU time and time again prior to joining today. I have grown outdoors for a few years now, last year with great success! I currently have 2 plants indoors, 1 clone that is "blueberry", and another that is "trainwreck", got them both from a reputable source. The clones were about two weeks in and rooted already when I got them. I put them under an 8 bulb fluorescent for 4 weeks and then put them under a 1000w hps; they've been there for 2 weeks now. This is actually straying from the purpose of this thread I suppose because I really want some feedback on my plans for the room.

Here it is:

I am building 3 boxes, one will be a room. So 2 boxes and a room.

one box (using a cabinet i already have) 14" deep, 36" tall, 38" wide > CLONE ROOTING

one box 5 ft high, 6 ft wide, 4 ft deep > VEG

one room 9ft X 5ft 8 ft ceiling > FLOW

In the clone cabinet I will use a 4 bulb T5 2'

In the veg box I will use my 8 bulb T5 4'

In the flowering room I will use (2) 1000w HPS

Ill be using soil in buckets

Now here's the part I still haven't decided because I'm not quite sure,; how does this sound...

I am starting with clones so I was thinking I'd acquire 12 of them.. 6 indicas, 6 sativas; strains still undecided. I'm open to suggestions!!

I plan on vegging all of my plants for 5 weeks total, and during those 5 weeks, on the 3rd and 4th week, I plan on topping the plants. So that would mean topping each plant twice. Which will get me 4 colas per plant, or, 48 colas.

I plan on having a set of 12 rooted clones taken from my vegged plants ready to go into the veg box as soon as those first 12 are done vegging.

After the 12 plants have had their 5 weeks of veg, they will go to the first half of the flower room. I will have those 12 plants under a 1000w HPS, they will spend their first 5 weeks of flowering there.. until the next round of plants is done vegging (5 wks), at which point those 12 plants that have flowered for 5 weeks will be moved to the other half of the flower room and the vegged plants will come in to start flowering

So ... 5 weeks veg, 5 weeks flower, 5 weeks flower, 5 weeks cure.
(incl. clones rooting)

So in essence Im trying to get a good cycle going that will provide me with buds every 5 weeks.

A few of my uncertainties are as follows:

-Is this is sensible approach, or is there another method I could use to get a better yield.

- Is 5 weeks veg long enough? How much would these yield under these conditions if the plants were vegged for 5 weeks.

- How far along in the veg process should I take my clones? I know they can take anywhere from 3-14 days to root. So I was figuring I 'd take each new round of clones after the first week of the plants being in the veg box (after they've already rooted themselves for 2 weeks in the clone box). This would, according to my 5 week cycle would mean that when the plants are done vegging, the clones will be ready to be moved in..

Anything anyone could tell me about my plans would be appreciated.

I am looking to harvest 1.5 lbs every 5 weeks. 2 + would be awesome! Lemme know if you think I could accomplish them in another way. I still haven't bought the second 1000w HPS or the 2' t5.. or a bunch of other little things i need. But I'm getting something going before the month's end. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance!

Appropriately,
Blue
