4x8 scrog

holy crap that is awesome! i was thinking 3lb's would be the limit for that space.
Yeah, it was too much for my wife. She looks after it while I am at work. Thats part of the reason I went to 4 plants and living soil. My goal is 4 plants yielding 4lbs. Last grow I got 3.7lbs from 4 plants. Getting close.

what strains are you growing? seeds or cuts? how long do you veg? do you veg in the same 4x8?
Strains are different every grow so far. Feminized seeds. Veg is 50-60 days. I veg in the flowering room for the most part but I do have a small tent that I germinate and grow the seedlings until they are big enough to go into the 20 gallon pots.

for 6lbs i'll reach and crawl and do what ever i need to do. do you supplement co2 and is your 4x8 sealed?
Sealed pretty damn close to 100% but I know I still have a couple small leaks but I am planning on fixing that. And yes I use bottled CO². I run 800ppm during veg, then 1500ppm in flower until I get to about 2-3 weeks from harvest then I slowly knock it down over 4 or 5 days to 800ppm while finishing the flower cycle.

I also throw VPD out the window when 2-3 weeks from harvest and drop temps to 72⁰f and humidity to 45-55% to preserve terpenes.

Not a god at all. Lol

Just a guy with a grow room and a little bit of good luck.

But seriously my yields went up big time when I started using scrog nets and properly filling them.
i grow in a 2x2 grow tent would something like this work? its called the grow1 scrog kit it is 24 inches x 24 inches so it would fit perfectly in my grow tent lemme know if this would work too increase my yields?

I am not a fan of the bungee cord type scrog nets. They stretch too much in my opinion. I like the plastic type. They hold things in place better. I tried the nylon type too, it worked but when I cut it apart at harvest time, it shed lots of nylon fibers and they ended up getting into some of my buds.

But that would work. I just prefer plastic.

How do you guys tend to your plants? I would think scrog in a 4x8 would be a real pain in the ass trying to get to some of the plants?
It's a twat indeed.

But vegging them in individual screens per pot helps, needs to be slightly smaller than full-sized.

Like 4 plants in 4x4 you would use 4x 10inch by 10inch screens.
Solid like the dude above posted. You can buy that sort of screen in most garden shops.

You need a strain that likes been scrogged and grows good cola size , not one that just grows a golf ball every 3 inch.
Guy several posts up is a perfect demonstration.

I've never hit them weights, but I am a slacker and keeping on top of everything in a perpetual things get carried away if timings are out, which they often are.

i dont believe that 6lbs in a 4x8 is luck. you are my freakin hero. i would be happy as hell to yeild half of that. thanks for sharing your techniques. i think with numbers like that everone is going to want to know how you did it. i think you could make that 4x8 sing and dance if you wanted to.

What's up man, do you have any grow dairy?
I'm in an 8x4 and trying to max it out with 8 plants in 7gal. I'm getting heavier yields each grow but not near 6lbs. Would love to know what genetics, lights, methods you use, do you veg until the tent is full or 50% full

I have multiple stainless steel shower grab bars, and HD metal cabinet handles strategically placed around the room and the ceiling beams. That way I can hang out like a monkey, and reach all the way to the other side of the scrog nets.
