What did you want to do in it? Veg or veg and flower?

If it's just for clones and small veg then go with the t5's but if you're going to flower then go with the 400 mh/hps or even a 600W..

A lot of people do three 600W's or two 1000'w in that area. Not that you need to.. but people do that..

If you're going to be doing to be growing I'd say a 600w MH/HPS would make more sense in a space that size. I run a 400w in a 36"x20"x60" I would run a 600w if I could cool it.

You're gonna have to link me to one of those grows. As much as I've seen in a 4x4 was two 600w's. That's insane 3 600w in a 4x4

Yea, IMO they are only for really really small grows like PC grows. Photoperiod is nothing to fret about, all you need is a 15 buck light timer. What's your budget? Is this your first grow? All you have to do is set the timer to 18/6 or 16/8, veg it for 30-40 days then flip to 12/12 and watch her take off. Growing is amazingly simple. People just screw it up from lack of confidence and not educating themselves before they start growing. Self confidence and knowledge will get you a long way.

You don't learn to drive before you get your beginners permit, no. You read those goofy ass manuals take the written test THEN start to drive. Same applies with growing. Do a LOT of reading and have a good understanding of it BEFORE you start to grow. Sorry, starting to rant.

So I should be good....... Right?

Do 12/12 from seed under a 600W, then you don't have to worry about veg/flower, everything grows side by side, just keep rotating them in and rotating them out...you will yield more than you could ever need.

Thats my opinion and I'm sticking to it !!!!!!!!

I think 7-10 plants is a lot for anyone. Especially someone who is just beginning.

rotating them in and out? do you mean moving the plants around? or are you talking about the 12/12?

10 plants in a 4x4 will be a jungle, it's doable but you'll need some good air circulation to keep the PM at bay. An air cooled 600 mh/hps is a great way to go for a tent that size.
