I have a 4x4x6.5' DR120 2.5 tent on the way and would like to use a 600w HPS for flower. I understand that because of the 4x4 size with just a 600w, in order to maximize yield I really need to go HQ/$$ on a reflector/bulb if I want to get the most out of the space.
I'd like to do a SOG setup as I have great access to top notch clones... veg em for a week, then right into flower. I plan on running it's 12 hrs of light during the coldest parts of the night/morning (i.e. 10pm to 10am)
all research has pointed me to:
Blockbuster 6'' air cooled reflector
quantum or lumatek digi ballast
plantmax hps bulb
looking for input on if this solution will provide adequate lighting/yields and if so...how many plants should I go with doing SOG?
Money is not an issue as far as equipment goes. The issue IS amperage, electricity hence the 600w.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Me needs to get this going!
