Okay I was working in my grow area and my clip fan kinda fell and broke a small branch (6 inch side brands with 4 nodes). Now I noticed the branch was only broken and not broken off so I propped it up and left it.

Today I saw it wasn't getting any better so I cut it and am trying to clone it and revert it back to veg.

Is there any special way to do this or just clone it but it on 18/6 and pray?

If I'm successful will it hermi when I flower it?

Also there are 2 small buds on this branch will they fall off or what will happen?

Thanks in advance.

If you do get it to reveg and root, the buds will fall off like dead leaves. I would suggest smoking the small buds now and ignoring that you broke one of your plants.

Always focus on succeeding in the big and forget about the small losses you make, good lesson in life also haha.

you can't take a clone from a flowering plant and revert it back to veg before it finishes. also you shouldn't have propped it up, you should have reattached it with duct tape. i would just take the two small buds of the severed branch and throw the rest away.

you can dip in gel and put it back in the flower room and it will continue to flower annd you still might get some good bud off it. i tried the whole rev veg thing and have never had any luck out then dead plants. but i have had them keep flowering for me and finished up ok

You may be able to clone that small branch. If you suceed, your plant will grow a bunch of very strange looking leaves, with one blade and very twisty for a while, then the leaves will start looking more normal, with one normal blade, then three normal blades, then five. Your plant will also be very bushy as it matures, with lots of smaller colas instead of one main one. Eventually, the buds will fall off, but I wouldn't cut them off unless you are really fiending for some bud. A new branch will grow from each node in those buds, and if your buds are fairly developed, that is a lot of branches. Some people clone from flowering plants on purpose. Do a little research on "monster cropping" thats what its called. Heres a link:https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/346874-monster-cropping-increasing-yield.html

I disagree, I have done it numerous times and had good sucess. Check out that thread in my previous post. The op's claim's about increasing yeild by 40% are a little bold, but you absolutley can clone a flowering plant.

Dont take it as a clone. Just use a piece of duct tape and tape the stem back. Its far enough in flowering where the stem isnt going to triple in diameter. You'll be plenty fine.
