Got my box yesterday along with everything to make my light setup... got my light/reflector built and just got the ups from my door step which had my ph up and down dry, yoyo hangers, and 2mil 48in x 25ft mylar.. Got everything in except my ph meter was suppose to be here today but looks like it didn't come... Instead of pc fans for an exhaust this go around I'm going to use this 185cfm Honeywell 9in fan I bought at lowes to see if it can keep the temps down...

so cd, lets say my closet is 5.5 ft long 6 ft high with a slanting roof (think attic apt under awning crawlspace) i dont want to run an ac during the summer months, just some venting and cooling the living space (in other words i dont want to use hps till next fall)
lets say i get a decent veg nothing crazy(2 months from seed/sexed of course) if i just kill the girls with wattage during flowering pulling 3-4 ozs dry isnt far fetched?
(not my first grow- i was growing under my buddies medcard out west-probably have a good 3-4 runs in with a good knowledge of cfl's and ff soil and nutes)
Edit: or am i better off with a 4/600w and just leaving the closet open with fans?

i have problems with kleeping my cab cool due to poor exhaust and intake...i keep the rooom the cab is in cool around 68-70, and i have a tower fan inside the cab just blowing directly on the bac wall and i have a mini fan at the door of the cab blowing in and it stays at 78 perfectly with a 55watt cfls and 3 42watters and a 24watter and theres 7trees in there

no, not at all, i think i can get close to 4 oz's off this girl. 8 weeks is a long veg period, so there gonna be big, LoL. i veg about 4 to 5 weeks and that keeps the plants just the right size for this 4 foot box. 4 oz's off the last 2 girls and they were about 3 foot tall each and if the topping would have worked on the rocklock, i think i could have got 5.

another question..
why are you not running the splitters off of your extenders?> temps get to high with more bulbs/watts? extender cant handle wattage?
i understand your limited in space but just seems like you could squeeze in a few more bulbs.. (esp underneath)

thanks chief!! thats exactly why, i had 13 bulbs in there with all the adapters and extenders and in the morning, the center hole wasnt coming on and i had to touch/move it and it would crackle and shit. wasnt digging that so i took a couple out and only have 10 now. dam sure dont want no fire in a cardboard box, LoL.if his vanity light is anything like mine it has a max watt per socket and pushing to much over that max watt per socket could be hazardous... just my thoughts
the t-5 is all by it self but to the same timer. i just dont wanna get to crazy with shoving to much fire hazard in the box.

From the looks of things, blade and grassy are doing great! Still so much more growth though. But yooz the king of the cardboard creations so i've got faith in ya.
On another note, all my strains are choppered down, and air drying, getting ready to jar. The initial cure of the 'taller' WR i chopped first, was good, but not outstanding. I just got finished smoking a crumb of my BM.. . and wowza.. holy hashy mc-stoney taste, batman! Definitely the best tasting out of all 3 strains i grew. Have yet to sample my bush WR though, i've got a feeling that one is going to be killer. The smell of it when i chopped her down, was that of 2 fruit loops fucking over a bed of fruit salad. Awesome smell. I actually got my hands on a 10x magnification monocle thingy, and checked the trichs on that bush WR. 60-75% amber trichs, with the rest mostly cloudy, and very little clear. I watered her for the last time, and chopped her down 25 minutes later. I'm very anxious to re-veg all of these if i can. Because i'll take clones of them, and make somewhat healthier offspring. All in due time...

on a side note, I got almost all the mylar in my box and got the exhaust fan rough fitted in the box... Just need to get the mylar in on the door side and everything sealed up and I'll be ready to germ some seeds

they, LoL, thats still just 1 plant bro, she's huge!! cool man, where did you mount the fan? M asked me about how to get the mylar on the box and i told him to use thumb tacks like i did. then i got to thinking, maybe spray adhesive, if you sprayed the panel and then put a piece cut to size and use like a squeegee to spread it out smooth???? just planning ahead when i get the new box, LoL. i would also like to do the one big exhaust fan out the top.damn CD they just keep looking better and better bro

thanks bro!! yes they are, this thing should give me a real nice haul for sure. is that the one that has a metal frame? they had those at walmart for the same price, the ones for the true air i have are just like a fabric sheet and they were 3 for $8. i thought the metal frame ones would be great to mount in the side of the box. i have so many ideas for the new box, LoL.

yeah bro the spray adhesive would have worked and I didn't think about it till after I got double sided tape and already had 3 sides in lol... But yeah I think that would work perfect.. Um fan is going to be mounted on the top of the box, cut a 9in dia circle and fan slide in up past the back of the fan vents... So it works perfectly, Its just a 9in Honeywell fan I got from lowes for like 15 bucks... I'm thinking about getting another one and doing the same thing but putting the second fan on the timer so that at night 1 fan circulates air and when lights on you have 2 fans keep it cool, with 185cfm (I think thats what it is, if not close to that ) it should be perfect and there cheap so if it goes out I'll just get another one
