Mmmm I am using T5 for veg but I may get a larger fixture for when them weather gets cold and I need to move my flowering inside.

I have two 4 ft. 8 bulb T5 Quantum Badboy's.
Averaging about 3 to 4 ounces per plant. That's dry/cured weight.
First pic is from my second grow ever.
Second pic is from my current grow at 3 and a half weeks into flower.

Running 11 x T5 (6 Blue 5 Red) in a room that 8L x 5.5W x 5.25H I have no reflectors .. The room is 100% covered in Mylar (Fuck staples use fungi resistant silicone!) Also my lights are screwed to the walls ~ The sunblaster single ballast have notches that you can put 2 screws on each end and each side that "pinch" in to place and is VERY stable! ~ Nothing growing :| lol.. I'm trying to clone some Purple Kush .. But I just SUCK at it! :( ~ A trick with Mylar is hang it like toilet paper when making in to lengths..

These are like 400w's. It's fucking insane. I got a 2' 4 bulb that is 96w. I just installed it today. Looks great but it has been a pain for me to secure. Hoping i can get decent bud out of it.

If you don't want to screw them to the wall (Like I did ~ and works F Great!) Get really thin wire and make 2 loops around the ballast (1 on each end) and then you got your own rig to hang it. The bulbs seem to be very durable and bendy.. * considering they are glass" 2T5 4 foot long HO are 90-110 Watts .. The old school incandescent light bulbs are 90 Watts each :S So 12 is like 6 old light bulbs.. I plan on having 20 That will be 1000 Watts a typical out let is 15 amp @ 120 V and that means 1800 Watts.. I pay 12.25 Cents for Kwph (1000 watts for 1 hour) so 1000 Watts for 18 hours a day = $2.25 a day x 120 (life cycle) = $270.00.. <-- that's less then an Oz here o_O
also USE SOMETHING REFLECTIVE God bless mylar @ $140 a roll (including shilling) for a 100 foot roll that's only $0.35 a SF!!! (100 feet by 4 feet)

!! never use more then 80% of an outlet power (1500 watts on a 15 amp breaker) ~ Murphy's law

you can flower under a t5s with great results, some get better results then others. I will flower under my t5s but only in june, july and august. i only run auto in the summer though the reason is cause i usually run 4 open air adjust a wings and i can keep it cool i just have to run a 15000 btu ac along with my house ac cranked up and that ends up costing me about 800 a month not worth it to me. so that is when i run all those fucking autos i get for free from my seed bank orders etc... If your going to do it i would for 1, keep them as short as possible. then i do a sea of green style with all donkey dicks(no toping) cause the t5s dont penetrate the canopy very well so i also lolipop them (cut off growth below canopy) doing that keeps buds a little tighter and you can focus more effort and energy on the central cola and 2-4 of shoots. I also run a mix of warm and cool bulbs in my t5s when in flower . so it is really up to you if you have the t5s you can have a good harvest would i trade in my 4 1000ws, not yet, but.. you can still get a good yeild i just dont think resin production is as good, but for the money you save its sometimes worth it. my friend lined all 4 walls and the top of his tent with t5s and i was a good grow but. he also ended up not saving any money cause insted of his normal 3 light setup he had 9 t5s so.... really its up to you. can you do it? yes. will you yeild as much? dont think so. but my patients can never tell the difference only i the grower can so give it a try you wont know for yourself till you run them. just remember they do kick of heat in a tent and when you start packing 3 4 footers in a small tent i would recomend at least a 6 inch inline(not the little in duct) im talking the ones you use to cool hoods. hope this helps

My harvest of 200 watt t5 about 2 years ago. Moved next to school and haven't been able to grow. Got like 112g dried, it was rock hard and SUPER stoney. Some Purp Kush, was the best purp kush i have had.
