If you can make them respond quicker with a 24 hr dark period thats good, but have you tryed giving them 14 light and 10 dark 3 weeks into flowering for 2 weeks then going back 12/12 ? I read it in Skunk or High Times? and it also in the Book below, book says there was a reported 10% more yeild and a week longer to flower. But what I would like to know, does it help the potency and flavor?
OBTW I do not care for Skunk Mag, it's a joke IMO.

I guess I cant say a damn thing until I do a side by side clone grow to test this. Ill put 2 clones in flowering from the same plant. One i will give darkness and the other I wont. It will be about 3 weeks till I put anything else in my flowering room but next time Ill give it a try

Yeah I have read a few articles about increasing yields by giving them more light in flowering. Id like to see a grow journal of this before trying it because I would have to do the entire batch that way. A bit more of a risk

From the Growers Bible it seems the guy who wrote on this was not impressed or even really saw hard facts that it works. It was in a magazine article, but I dunno?
I love to experiment and I might just give it a try. I am still waiting on my seeds~
V kush and New York Special , it's been 10 days.
Let us know when you do any experimenting, I love facts.

The Growers Bible says that they did a study on 24 hrs dark 36 hrs dark and 48 hrs dark, the best results where 36 hrs dark before 12/12 and the reason is it makes the plant realize after the first day of 12/12 that it is time to flower. So you will see your preflowers alot sooner than if you would of went straight into 12/12.
I just bought some Greenhouse Seeds.
Went to their website and watch videos on the seeds I bought.
Any way...in one Video they mention that going into a 72 hour dark period does just that.....
or was it 36 hour? Damn! I thought three days....:leaf: now I'm confused...
Either way....I think it helps...
